01/02/2025: Nice start to a good evening with 2 hours of food, wine and beer
31/12/2024: Was here for the New Year event, 1st seating 24/12-24, and was not overwhelmed. On the Food Club's website it said that there was a welcome drink and two cocktails included in the price (which this evening was DKK 650 per person), but since we didn't automatically get a welcome drink on arrival, I asked about it and the waiter said that i had to talk about another restaurant because it wasn't part of their offer....nor had she heard of the two cocktails that were included. When I showed her their own website, she had to admit that I was right and offered to make us a jug of drinks instead...nice enough, but we were now looking forward to the two cocktails. And by the way, it was a very strange experience that they didn't even know what they were selling themselves on such an evening. The food was ok, but not much different than when we were there for lunch on a Saturday (where the price was DKK 500 different per person) All in all, not terribly impressed with their ability for special events like this New Year's Eve. But when we were there last time (for lunch), it was a good experience.

05/02/2025: Har måtte rette min anmeldelse, de har haft 5 stjerner og været super god, men efter genåbningen er kvaliteten desværre gået tabt.... bløde blege pommes og tørre burgere.
20/11/2024: Fra lidt uheldig episode til Max positiv. Vi bestiller lidt mad i søndags til frokost. Alt er fint, maden kommer hurtigt og vi går i gang. Efter at jeg har spist et par kartofler finder jeg et hår i sovsen. Min kone siger at jeg skal gå op og bede om at få en ny hvilket jeg så gør. Ekspedienten spørger mig om jeg vil have en ny eller pengene tilbage, hvortil jeg siger jeg er sulten så vil egentlig godt bede om en ny. Ekspedienten kommer tilbage med en ny bøf med løg og kartofler som virkelig var en fin portion. Hun kvitterede så lige med de 85 kr. som retten havde kostet i tilbagebetaling. I min optik er det virkelig god stil. Det var overhovedet ikke noget jeg havde regnet med. Vi kommer der ret ofte, så jeg havde på ingen måde tænkt den tanke at man fik pengene tilbage plus maden. Vi kommer snart igen og kan varmt anbefale Oasen. Jeg er kommet der i snart 40 år, lige siden jeg var helt ung og det er altid god mad og god betjening.

01/02/2025: To the owner of The Hummus & Pita Bar on Randersvej. I have only had good experiences with you (owner), and as a customer there has been a fantastic atmosphere and pleasant conversations when I have visited you. The food has always been good and plenty of filling in your pitas. Today I passed by you and was very disappointed. I think my pita was small compared to what it usually is. Sometimes your amount of filling varies so much that I think about it every time I order. Today I get a little filling in my pita and I decide that as a regular customer I can go down and ask about this. I am showing one of your employees today. 1/2, this pita on the left side of the picture, and say that I am disappointed and that I think that sometimes you get enough food for DKK 85, and other times small pitas that do not fill you up. Instead of accepting what I think is completely legitimate criticism, which I only bother to address because, as I said, I am a FAST customer of yours, your employee chooses to be rude and ignorant of my position. He refuses to understand that I am unhappy and accept the criticism, and defends himself by attacking me instead. He explains that you are busy at times and can therefore forget things, he says that I should not give him a "cold shoulder" because I criticize the product, and he rejects any kind of criticism. I had to give up and leave after extremely poor and incompetent customer service who simply refuse to accept completely fair criticism from a regular customer. In addition, I could see that he had to explain how "wrong" my criticism was to the other employees in the store when I left and he looked around at the others. Incidentally, this is NOT about the amount of meat, but the amount of salad. I asked him if he would be happy to pay DKK 85 for the pita I got, and he said yes. This surprises me when anyone can compare the pictures in the advertisement (right side of the picture) with my serving (left side of the picture) and see that it is not okay. Now you have to judge for yourself whether you would have been satisfied with 1. extremely poor customer service, 2. being rejected and accused of giving the "cold shoulder", and 3. an incredibly bad atmosphere, as if it was my fault that I paid for a product that does NOT meet the standards you normally have. And 4. that you get laughed at on the way out. All in all, the attitude and atmosphere the employee brought into your business last night can be described as "if you don't like the smell in the bakery, pay for your item and leave". It's pissing off your regular customers. The criticism is directed at the employee I "discussed" with last night.
