13/11/2024: Unfortunately, I have to subtract a few stars from my rating. Food, service and atmosphere were perfectly fine, but much of the Mexican food on the menu, including fajitas, could not be ordered.
Instead we got a "Mexican inspired steak. It was a steak with 5-6 slices of jalapeños from glass on top.
We didn't get any Mexican food.
The food, on the other hand, was good. The steak was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious.
But that was by no means what we came for.
Coffee was also DKK 10 more expensive than the large one on the dining card. And DKK 30 for a bottle of spring water I think was a bit on the high side, but ok.
30/10/2024: It was such a cozy place and the food tasted absolutely fantastic!

11/12/2024: A thoroughly wonderful experience. The employees were top class and the food was delicious and plentiful. The atmosphere as if you were sitting in a village in Mexico. A positive surprise.

28/12/2024: We were at cactus and eat in December 2024. The positives first, cozy atmosphere, a place with a fun interior, lots of fun things to look at. Good space between the tables. The location is perfect, an old farm, Morten Kock describes it best.
The service was friendly and sweet, English speaking.
Then we come to the slightly sad, but most important part. For starters a Mexican chicken soup, it tasted good and of course, lots of chicken in it. For the main course, cactus beef and grill mix with fries. It didn't taste of anything, despite lots of salt and pepper. The sauce for the beef was so sour that we weren't sure if it was bad or just too much wine vinegar. Mix grill it said it was Greek steak, probably more Danish mince without salt/pepper. However, the roasted vegetables were ok.
Fries ok. Very disappointing.
We agreed that if we had stuck to Mexican it would have been much better.
Finally a trip to the toilet with cramps.

12/11/2023: En smuk restaurant med flot gennemgående tema. Maden kom hurtigt, var yderst lækkert, kødet stegt præcis efter ønske og personalet var yderst servicemindet. Det var uden tvivl køreturen værd fra Stevns.
Det eneste jeg kan komme på der ikke er positivt er, at det ikke er handicapvenligt da der er 2 meget stejle trapper man skal op ad.

Maden både ser og smager superrent. Stor ros til både kok og personalet. Tilberedt til perfektion og super smags oplevelse
