We tasted the starters and enchiladas and can definitely recommend them
24/06/2025: There is a full plate of stars here.
The food: 🌮everything tasted incredibly delicious, filled with warmth, love and flavor. Everything was homemade. And the price is really cheap. We got a main course and a 3-course menu, a grimbergen and a medium soda for less than 400kr 🫶🏻 However, the prices will soon increase, understandably enough, but that shouldn't put you off. The food is worth it.
The service: the nicest waiter we have experienced in a long time. He created a wonderful and happy atmosphere and was very attentive.
Atmosphere: it is really cozy. Lots of decorations on the walls. The restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside, but it is a completely different world when you step over the threshold.
We will be back 🥰👍🏻

05/04/2025: Vi fik begge en rigtig god middag/ret og selvom der var mange besøgende var ventetiden kort. Sødt personale. Kan kun anbefale Det Mexikanske bøfhus.
28/03/2025: Bad service, the waiter didn't know anything about the things on the card. Got a sour/bad steak and the chef doesn't understand anything.

27/06/2025: Was welcomed, seated at a table, waited 15 minutes for a menu card.
Others who came in after us got a menu card before us, we had to ask for it ourselves.
Wienerschnitzel was nice and hot, but it was us. Lukewarm sauce, lukewarm potatoes.
All in all, 45 minutes from arrival to the food being on the table.
There was a lot of noise in the small room, as there were many guests, and the space was tight.
25/06/2025: I ordered bruschetta and the lasagna. Both were tasteless. I also tried to order a side salad, but was unable to. The server pointed out that only the 3 large dinner salads were an option. Then she pointed out that I could change my order to a shrimp dish that came with a small side salad. I don't think it was a translation issue, she even apologized that a side salad wasn't available with the lasagna.
I would not eat here again. It was disappointing.

14/06/2025: Average food and the IPA and Pilsner tap beer were as flat as a Guiness. I had to revert to a bottled beer after returning two flat draft beers with no compensation. Probably wise to ask for a taster before committing to drink, let alone dining there. The local guests seemed friendly, though.
16/05/2025: Overall a very nice place but every time I come here I feel like I am ignored by the staff.
The prices on the menu are not correct and it is already expensive enough so when they charge 100 for a gin and tonic which on the menu is 60 you feel cheated.
I have not eaten here so I cannot comment on that

12/11/2023: En smuk restaurant med flot gennemgående tema. Maden kom hurtigt, var yderst lækkert, kødet stegt præcis efter ønske og personalet var yderst servicemindet. Det var uden tvivl køreturen værd fra Stevns.
Det eneste jeg kan komme på der ikke er positivt er, at det ikke er handicapvenligt da der er 2 meget stejle trapper man skal op ad.
03/08/2023: Super veltilberet og lækker mad/anretning .
Maden både ser og smager superrent. Stor ros til både kok og personalet. Tilberedt til perfektion og super smags oplevelse
