15/06/2025: The expectations for Stjerneglimtet, which can probably be described as Café Havglimt's version of a Starburst, were set a bit high for a café, as they had written that it was fresh fish and hand-peeled shrimp. From ordering to serving it took 7 minutes, which was quite surprising. A bit faster than expected. First impression was positive, as I could immediately see the hand-peeled shrimp. And there were lots of them. At the bottom was an anonymous piece of bread that had been in the toaster. Fresh salad and 2 fish fillets that were fresh as advertised, but they were not butter-fried. It was probably the quick fryer that had managed to heat it up. In addition to the shrimp, there were also lots of cucumber strips, two pea sprigs and a little garnish (stonefish roe and lemon). The dressing was a prefabricated thousand island that did nothing good for the fish. Here you could wish they had a homemade seafood dressing that would spice things up a bit. I wonder what all those cucumber strips were for, but that's probably Havglimt's version... All in all, a serving that doesn't quite live up to expectations. You could wish they took it a big step up by frying the fish and bread in butter, using the right dressing and maybe replacing the cucumber with something that goes better. The price of 140,- for a "shooting star" is a quite reasonable price and with the lovely shrimp I give it 3/5 stars.

22/05/2025: Now unfortunately it's been a few years since I was there last, but I'm sitting in Turkey and miss this restaurant. I've experienced that they opened for me after a trip to the city where I met the owner on the street. They made a sandwich for my boyfriend and I which tasted fantastic. Another time I ordered homemade ravioli with truffle and some grilled giant shrimp. Seriously luxury food.

17/05/2025: Both the shop and the café, along with the ladies who run it, are worthy of more than just 5 stars! Warm, charming, worth seeing, and enjoyable! Be sure to stop by and enjoy a slice of cake and a huge pot of coffee! Sit in the sun and enjoy the day!

04/05/2025: Great, rustic atmosphere in the shop and in the café. Very friendly and helpful staff. Large, mixed range of goods that invite you to browse. Very tasty cakes and Flødeboller. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back!

28/04/2025: The lasagna that I got was average. Lasagne not with very much bechamel sauce, and the whole lasagna was covered in meat sauce. I regret not taking the pizza because they looked really good. The staff is welcoming but not very outgoing. We waited 15-20 minutes to place an order, even though there were only 2 other tables seated. The decor eventually very worn. Dust on the wall decorations and it's not as charming anymore as it was 15 years ago. The toilet very worn and doors dirty.

24/04/2025: Cozy place with an Italian atmosphere, great location, by the river. Staff were nice. Food was delicious, I went for the Luca Menu (3 course menu) and I recommend it. They have English menu. The only thing I did not get it, they charge you more if you pay by card.

01/03/2025: We wanted to try a random café in Holstebro. Café N was easy to swing past. No high expectations, as the price was quite low, for a brunch, compared to other places in the city. But we were pleasantly surprised there. We each got a nice big plate, with a lot of variety and plenty to fill us up. Really nicely decorated too! We were given a basket of bread and told that if we wanted more bread, we just had to ask. We won't forget that place and we'll probably have a good brunch, another day, at Café N.
