20/02/2025: It was bitterly cold in the room. Other guests even sat with outerwear on. Nothing has changed in the 5 years that have passed since we were last there.

15/02/2025: En aften med en 5-retters menu, med dertilhørende vinmenu. Det var en oplevelse der fortjener stor ros. Det var svært at finde parkering, så vi var sent på den, men ingen stress fra restaurantens side. Betjening var i top, servering og anretetning, såvel som præsentation af madden, var ligeså en oplevelse af de store. Kan varmt anbefales.

13/02/2025: For inexplicable reasons, my review is blocked. I try again. My third visit to Sprød. Ordered a gourmet pizza for DKK 140. It did not live up to either the price or the description and was significantly worse than when I last had the same pizza. If you don't have the raw materials, then at least give us the opportunity to choose something else. The service (from the owner?) was conspicuously indifferent with no eye contact or smile. We had to wait a long time for the drinks, despite the fact that the restaurant was 1/3 full. We had an elderly lady with us who walks with a walker, and the waiter made an effort not to hold the door for her (which he himself went out of). The food and especially your manners were below par today. Will choose another place next time I have lunch in Holstebro.

31/12/2024: Delicious cakes and worthwhile souvenirs. No tourist goods but handicrafts and special coffee and teas. My wife also finds high-quality clothing there every year.

30/08/2024: Small bakery with nice multilingual staff. Card payment no problem. Lots of choice, but the sweet things are typically Danish with sugar. Prices are high. When it comes to the rolls, which are possible, you will look in vain for rich, dark ones with grains etc. I can't recommend Kajekage, it only consists of a marzipan topping with buttercream. On the other hand, cream-filled cookie tarts or the nut pastries or the sugar-free cookies are delicious.
