24/12/2025: That's a shame. I drove all the way here. They're on vacation. The business is closed for two weeks. This should be updated on the website! Should I call ahead?

15/12/2025: Super cozy eatery/Nice coffee shop with the world's best coffee.

22/11/2025: For 20 years, this has been a regular stop for us whenever we're in the area. A great selection of products. First, we browse through the shop, and then we enjoy coffee and homemade cake, which is always delicious.

10/11/2025: We didn't eat anything here, although it probably would have been fantastic. (We were too late.) However, we were able to browse the wonderful selection. Melag and Reisenthel are just a couple of the brands that immediately come to mind. Enchanting gifts, soaps, spices, typical Danish licorice chocolate, leather goods, pottery, jewelry, Norwegian socks... Everything comes at a price. A beautiful atmosphere that you wouldn't suspect from the outside!

15/10/2025: A very nice and cozy cafe in the harbor. Also great for fishing or watching the fishermen.

11/10/2025: A welcoming owner and host, always up for a good joke, and a fantastic atmosphere in the small "Gammel Havn Café" in Thorsminde – what more could you want? Whether you're looking for lunch or enjoying afternoon coffee with a delicious apple pie or a refreshing ice cream, the "Old Harbor Café" is always the right place. Of course, you can also enjoy a good Danish beer and other spirits, breathe in the fragrant harbor air in the sunshine outside, watch the amateur anglers on the fjord shore or the returning fishermen unloading their catch in the small harbor, or simply relax. You hardly notice how quickly the time passes, and when you leave, you're already looking forward to your next visit.

18/10/2025: "Great snack bar" doesn't really describe it. Even seemingly simple dishes are exceptionally delicious here. The staff has been more than just friendly on each of our visits.

11/12/2025: We had been looking forward to our first visit here for a long time and we had ordered the large gourmet menu with wine for 1800,-kr. per person. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. First, would we be placed in the farthest, darkest corner? Then there was no information about the evening's menu experience. The first course was served without any information and the wine was not presented in any way. This did not improve throughout the evening, even though we tried to ask about the food and the wine. But when my boss for a large company in the local area passed by our table, we suddenly got a completely different treatment... something strange we think. We left our table before dinner was finished, as we were very disappointed. When we left the place, a boss/employee came out with a small bottle of dessert wine and told me that they would like to be good friends with the company I worked for...... strange again. No thanks for the food.

06/12/2025: Then we were again at Under Klippen to taste the Christmas menu. And we were not disappointed. Again Ismail had created a delicious menu with an accompanying wine menu. Lovely service from sweet girls and a good atmosphere.

11/11/2025: The food is top notch, service fantastic, everything works. They are so helpful with everything. We just had our golden wedding anniversary here in November 2025. They made our party perfect. But throughout the summer I have enjoyed a light lunch, or coffee/cake, with various companions several times. And there is the most wonderful view over the Storådalen.

27/07/2025: Reserved a place for lunch at Storådalen on a Sunday. And it was a thoroughly wonderful experience. Welcome, was greeted by smiling and happy staff. "Do you want to sit outside or inside, though - there are some wasps outside". We felt welcome, and well informed. The lunch there fell on their Stjerneskud, and it was simply top notch. Really delicious, fresh and super delicious, and their own dressing. Quite delicious, good service, and smiles all the way. Finally a cup of coffee on the terrace, with a kransekake ball. Coffee as well as kransekake - delicious. Thank you for a wonderful lunch at Storådalen, good old days service in top class, see you again soon.

21/11/2025: We were guests in the town and now we're regulars. The restaurant is small and usually quite full. No wonder, the food is fantastic, the portions are quite generous, and the salad is crisp. Small menu, but everything is done with heart. Very welcoming!

27/12/2025: A truly authentic Italian pizzeria. Delicious, fluffy, crispy pizza dough with a well-balanced topping. The restaurant's decor is stylish, inviting, and cozy. The wine list is extensive. The price-performance ratio is excellent. The service is exceptionally friendly and attentive. I went there for lunch with my wife and I was very satisfied. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

20/12/2025: Excellent food, but extremely small portions. Thought the main course was a starter! Tasted good, but had to leave hungry! Remember to order at least three main courses if you want to be full…and then it gets expensive!

25/07/2025: Sweet employees, lovely customers, delicious food!!. They helped me when I got heatstroke in front of their store a few weeks ago and I had a nice chat and something to drink inside the cool surroundings there. Suuuuuuper good style from all of them. Can highly recommend the place, the food, the customers and the staff!!.

01/08/2025: Fint sted med venlig og god betjening. Brunchtallerknen var lækker, billig og absolut en gentagelse værd. Masser af lækkerier, frisk juice og kaffe for kr 150,- 😳👌🚀

01/06/2025: Maden (vi fik en BMO) og kaffen var rigtig god, og derfor vin jeg gerne komme igen. Men jeg er ked af den service vi fik. Vi sad ved et bord som ikke var tørret af og selvom vi havde spurgt om at rådner tørret af og pigerne gik forbi flere gange blev det ikke gjort. Da hun så kommer med vores bestilling siger vi igen at vi mangler at få bordet tørret af, hvortil hun snerper og siger jaja jeg skal nok gøre det. Så kommer hun med en klud efter vores mad er sat på bordet og tørrer det vredt af, rundt i kanterne, så bordet stadig er beskidt og der ligger krummer. Virkelig træls oplevelse. Det havde ikke taget mange minutter at tage det bord ad med det samme. Det var så beskidt at vi ikke kunne have hverken tlf eller arme på bordet.
