30/07/2024: The owner knows something completely unique. The interior of the café is something completely special. It is adventurous and unique. We had meatballs and fish meatballs that tasted good. A recommendable place with homemade food.

15/07/2024: Fantastic homemade food and dessert. Great service. Absolutely gorgeous decor and the opportunity to buy local crafts and fine art. Can only be recommended.

21/08/2025: Hello and hey, We ate at the pop-up restaurant at Aarhus Syv Ni 13 (Wednesday, August 20, 2025). We had the large 7-course menu – it was excellent and very good value for money! The hotel's facilities were perfect for this, but unfortunately, we can't say anything about the hotel itself. "SAMSØ is absolutely fantastic and highly recommended!" Thanks and cheers Postscript: I unfortunately took the photo of the dessert too late!

26/07/2024: The service was fresh and quick to start, but unfortunately only became unpleasant as the process progressed. If you ask for just fries, you get a condescending look with the accompanying question: "That's not all you need, is it?" If you ask for coffee, you are also asked to go somewhere else. Since we unfortunately could not find out ourselves that this place did not serve according to the guest's wishes, we had to let the waiter inform us, who like the last one said that it is not possible to change the order.. Personally, I think it is a very rude treatment.. hope the waiter has better days.

01/06/2025: Besøgte Casa Tua ved gadekæret i Nordby, et stort udvalg af rigtig god hjemmelavet is, god betjening, så det kan ikke blive meget bedre.

22/07/2025: Super cozy place and great staff. Beautiful view and lots of good seating. They know how to make people feel comfortable. The food is super delicious and well worth the price.

09/07/2025: really nice employees, but unfortunately they are a bit stingy with their ice cream scoops. Very small ice cream scoops for the price... We paid 35 kr for a scoop in a cup and the amount of ice cream was about the size of a small tablespoon.

22/09/2024: Restaurant med dejlig badehotel atmosfære, du mødes af et smilende og sødt personale og maden er bare virkelig dejlig. Kan virkelig anbefales, god ide at bestille bord. Kommer igen.

11/08/2024: Vi havde den store fornøjelse at spise middag på den dejlige restaurant to gange i løbet af vores sommer på Samsø, og det er en af de bedste restauranter, som vi har prøvet i det danske sommerland nogensinde. Maden og vinmenuen var udsøgt (med alle kosthensyn inkl. glutenfri), servicen var i top, og stedet var fantastisk. Tak for forkælelsen på både fødselsdag og bryllupsdag til køkkenchef Martin og hele personalet. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen til næste år.

10/09/2025: We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Vadstrup 1771 – surrounded by the most amazing natural surroundings just outside the city. The quiet location only contributed to creating a very special and relaxing atmosphere. You are welcomed with a warm and homely atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at ease. An authentic and charming place that can be highly recommended if you are looking for peace, presence and an experience beyond the ordinary. Thanks to Rie and Paul for creating the framework for our lovely 2-day stay.

16/06/2025: Liked it on the island. Only breakfast, but 4 times the same portioned dish. Soft-boiled egg that was hard-boiled, yogurt in a mini bowl with 3 blueberries and some apple strips. 3 kinds of jam, rosehip, blackcurrant and orange in bowls that were so small that they could only cover a bun (which were lovely). The cheese was again mini so 2 couldn't get a piece of brie on the half slice of gilleleje bread that was allocated. When I asked if you could get oatmeal instead of yogurt, it couldn't be done. Wonder how those who were going on a bike ride managed. A good thing that no food went to waste. Rooms, very soft bed, no WiFi, then you had to go down to the library. Good thing the island and the weather were nice
