23/09/2025: Just ate shooting stars at “Friske Fisk” If I was blindfolded, I wouldn’t be able to guess what I ate. It’s the worst shooting stars I’ve ever tasted!

18/08/2025: A nice selection of fresh and smoked fish. However, the smoked varieties were very salty. Quite high prices for e.g. cold cuts. Their fish dishes are really good.

22/09/2025: Lovely brown pub as it should be. Sensitive non-smokers should take a seat outside or go to the café 😃

10/07/2025: 12 months of patience wasted – an experience filled with frustration and disappointment I rarely write reviews, but this experience with Samsø Badehotel has unfortunately left me so disappointed that I feel the need to warn others. After almost a year – yes, 12 months – of repeated attempts to get a booking in place, and several cancellations from the hotel, hope was finally there that we could complete the stay. Along the way, I have kept myself informed, including about the validity of the gift card, and when I was told that it was still active, I of course took it with me. But then it turned out that it had “just been used” – without me being informed – and it was almost turned against me. Honestly, it felt like a deliberate strategy to avoid fulfilling an obligation. It seemed as if the hotel found a “smart” way to escape responsibility – and it leaves a bitter taste. The service throughout has been anything but accommodating. I have experienced a lack of communication, cancellations without real compensation, and an overall feeling that our experience was not taken seriously. I am sorry – not just for the wasted time and money, but for the way we have been treated. A place that thrives on the trust of guests and the expectation of a special stay should be able to do better. My hope is that no one else will have to feel the same way we did. Choose wisely – and be aware of what you are getting into.

17/08/2025: Nice center at reasonable prices. Not a high standard.

09/08/2025: Unfortunately, the buffet was far too small. We were only assigned a table for 7 p.m., even though there were hardly any people there. The buffet officially opened until 8 p.m. By 7:30 p.m., the remains of the grilled buffet had already been brought inside, and nothing more was grilled. Around 8 p.m., we were asked for the second time how far we had gotten with the buffet, as the staff wanted to clear it away. Luckily, the soft ice cream was available for a few more minutes thanks to the man who had been grilling, but only for a few minutes. The potatoes were unfortunately cold. Otherwise, it was OK, but not worth the price.

04/09/2025: Great little restaurant with a nice older gentleman who speaks a bit of German. The plaice was also very good 😋

25/08/2025: Was at the restaurant Perlen Samsø. Ordered 2 bottles of Tuborg, got them delivered unopened and without glasses, had to pay 50.00 kr per bottle. might as well buy them in Brugsen, they also deliver them with a cap on. Went in with the beers again and asked if it would be okay to pay 50.00 kr for two bottles of beer, he replied that this was a restaurant, I then asked for my money back, he seemed very angry but I got them back and with the message that we should not show up at his place again. Never experienced such a rude experience before. Never experienced being given beer with a cap on and without a glass at a restaurant. In every other restaurant you can buy a green Tuborg for 35.00 kr and then the cork is removed and there is a glass included. I was told I shouldn't come there anymore, he can be sure I'll never come there again and I'm sure the nice ladies sitting at the table next to me won't either, they had to pay 40.00 kr for a small cup of coffee. If you want to lose customers, this is the right way to do it.

22/08/2025: Miserable place. When you enter the door, you meet the host's private table, which was a big mess and dirty Given strict instructions from the host to stand behind the yellow line. We could only buy the buffet if we bought a bottle of water. Each !! otherwise he would not serve us ! The plates were not refilled, very very boring and cheap cold cuts .. even the Samsø potatoes were all soggy. The host was very unhygienic to look at. Dirty blouse, paint stains on the pants. Dirty nails . The kitchen was disgusting !! Grease and dirt around the stove. In the toilet the hand dryer did not work, and there was a sign that you were not allowed to dry your fingers on the paper ?!?! Stay away !

17/07/2025: Good food for cheap money, homemade breaded fish with homemade remoulade, and a cozy atmosphere in the backyard. Sweet old owner who cooked the food along the way.
