04/01/2025: For the New Year's event, there was an hour and a half wait for the first course, even though all guests received the same menu. In addition, the coffee machine was already shut down before the dessert was served. This was two hours before the restaurant closed. In general, the service was below standard and the chef presented the food wearing a very dirty chef's jacket, which gave an unprofessional impression. The food was boring and the lobster bisque we were served tasted burnt.

01/01/2025: Lousy New Year's event - a big disappointment We had been looking forward to Meyers in Lyngby and their 3-course New Year's menu, but the evening was a huge disappointment. The event was announced from 18-23, but already on arrival it seemed as if the staff just wanted to get it over with. Snacks were not served until 1.5 hours after arrival, which put the evening off to a bad start. The starter, a burnt lobster bisque, was almost inedible, and the whole evening was characterized by slow service and inattentive staff. When we tried to order coffee before dessert, we were told that the coffee machine had already been shut down - despite the fact that there was still 1.5 hours left of the event. Several guests chose to leave early, as the experience simply did not live up to expectations. The whole evening felt unprofessional and poorly planned. This was in no way worth the money and I will not recommend Meyers to anyone.
