De bedste restauranter i Kalundborg

29/12/2025: A few years ago I wanted to have a nice dinner there in their premises. I drove there and was given a tour by an older woman. She didn't seem super excited about me as a customer and even said when I had questions: “It's only a 20th birthday after all”. I was upset when I was ready with a lot of money and wanted to have a nice dinner. My mother had worked closely with Dyrehøj during her time as owner of Strandhotel Røsnæs and my family has donated a lot of money to Røsnæs through their foundation, Bent O. Jørgensens Fond. So it surprised me to receive such poor service when I had only heard good things about the place from my family. The birthday party was not held there for good reasons. Because I simply didn't feel welcome. I've thought about it sometimes since then and hope that it's different now and that they will now remember that regardless of age, appearance, etc. you don't know which customer you're dealing with. Because even though I was 20, I could afford a nice sophisticated dinner and wanted it out there because I appreciate the wine. But besides that, I have had other visits to Dyrehøj that were nice and they also have good wine. Another feedback I would also like to give is some more complete aesthetic framework in relation to the premises. The chairs she showed me were classic community center chairs and there were other details that (in my taste) could be better. But all in all a nice place.

15/11/2025: When you have to throw a party, you think a lot, everything has to be perfect. I live in Sweden, but my whole family lives in Denmark, most of them in North and West Zealand. So I chose Bromølle Kro. Super help with planning and putting together the menu. The age group was from 10 years old to the oldest of 89 years old. But the dinner was perfect, young and old enjoyed it. The staff was super nice and helpful. The dinner was also great. All my guests have praised and thanked me for the party. I forgot to say that the room was beautifully decorated. It was a fantastic day. Paul Kreisby

06/08/2025: Had lunch with the family, 6 people from 10 years to 81 years, on August 7th at 12:00. We had 4 different dishes from the lunch menu, and everything was very tasty and nicely served, by nice and competent staff. The food came very quickly after we ordered👍👍👍😃

14/02/2026: Meat and salad plus sauce. No vegetables. Not eatable

08/01/2026: WE CAME ALL THE WAY FROM COPENHAGEN BECAUSE IT WAS SO GOOD

03/12/2025: The experience was below average and the kitchen couldn't keep up at all and the restaurant wasn't even half full. We had to wait a long time for the food even though we ordered several things at the same time. There is room for improvement

24/11/2025: HOME MADE SPRING ROLLS IS THE BEST 👌👌👌 Hjemmelavede forårsruller er de bedste 👌👌👌 The only place I always have the springrolls. They have 2 types of springrolls but I always choose the HOMEMADE. They are sooo perfect. Never came here without having the springrolls. It is a must!

12/02/2026: Have eaten there several times. Almost always good food especially when the owner and his son I think are there, then you feel much more welcome. Compared to when the others who work there when the boss is not there......

01/11/2025: Really good food. We had chicken schnitzel, club sandwich, spaghetti carbonara and pepper steak, and it all tasted fantastic. We will definitely be back. Good prices, you get an incredible amount for your money.
