Such a bit of an old-fashioned feel.
08/06/2025: My favorite rest stop on the way between West Zealand and Copenhagen. Always fast and friendly service. Good coffee, hotdogs and sandwiches.
Definitely recommended 👍😋♥️

Borrevejlecenteret - hytter og camping

05/08/2025: The campsite is located right next to a busy highway. It's very noisy, so sleeping in a tent is recommended only with earplugs.
There's no overnight staff, so evening arrivals require a complicated registration process at the machine. You have to provide a lot of information and pay by bank transfer.
Since there's no one on duty, the campsite feels like a party, and no one keeps quiet.
On the plus side: clean, but paid-for showers, and a tidy restroom and kitchen. Cabins are also available for rent, which are probably quieter. Pitching tents is relatively inexpensive, making it a good place for an emergency overnight stay while traveling.
We probably won't be back.

Spacious site.
Impersonal, poor service.
Cleaning of showers and toilets leaves much to be desired. The campsite has many small cabins, mainly occupied by seasonal workers.
Lots of highway noise.
On the plus side, the city of Roskilde is well worth a visit.

27/07/2025: I ordered a durum roll with Greek steak. I was very surprised because it was very spicy with chili and also over-dosed with dressing. I ended up throwing the food away 😒
27/07/2025: Totally inedible food!!!
Greek steak with so much jalapeño and chili does not belong anywhere.
Had to throw the food out because it was inedible and drank a liter of milk and a call to the emergency room.
Called them but they didn't care, got a lie that this is how they made Greek steak - maybe they should rename it to Turkish steak with extra strength.
That was the first and last time I'll go past them.

03/05/2025: Hyggelige omgivelser, venligt personale, men de var noget usynlige.
Fik Ledreborg Bøf, lækkert tilbehør med en god sovs. Bøffen havde god sprød skorpe, men meget sej😢.
Ville have haft dessert og kaffe, men personalet kom aldrig ned til os.
Da vi havde ventet 20min, gik vi op i baren og bad om at få lov til at betale vores regning.
09/02/2025: Fik lækker tre retters menu, Dining week. Virkelig lækker mad og hyggelig stemning. God betjening. Kommer gerne igen.

30/03/2025: The food is a nice tasty well-prepared everyday food with good taste and lots of it at a good price.
Just like cafeteria food should be, and even at the best end of the scale.
Nice to have a place in Osted where you can get a good meal, on those days when you don't feel like cooking but want to enjoy a delicious meal.
