13/01/2026: Visited Shawarma Grill-House on January 13, 2026 and had a pita bread with Lebanese shawarma. The food was really tasty – homemade, well-seasoned meat and fresh, crispy salad. The central location on Hestetorvet and the always friendly service mean that I have been coming here for many years and continue to return.

30/12/2025: Long wait for 2 cups of coffee. Had to wait until everyone who came in and stood in line was dispatched before the coffee was made. We were 2 seconds away from leaving without the coffee. It can't be very good for the reputation that you don't make the coffee immediately when it is ordered, but have to wait for others to get delivered even if they came after you. We won't be back.

20/12/2025: This is a beautiful small gem with a great view of the harbor and Roskilde Fjord. The coffee and food is good quality and it’s a very cozy place with a nice atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the bun with cheese and whipped butter. They have their own mini bakery. The service is friendly, efficient and quick.

15/10/2025: I went there spontaneously with my husband when it started raining and we ended up staying for a few hours because the atmosphere was so lovely and the service (thank you, Isabella!) so friendly that we decided to design and make our own earrings there. One of the two nicest cafés we visited in Roskilde.

14/10/2025: A super cozy experience at the Jewelry Café. I had the most wonderful experience at the jewelry café! The staff was so sweet, welcoming and helpful – they took the time to show different materials and techniques, so that you could really create your own unique piece of jewelry. The atmosphere was relaxed and creative, with cocoa with marshmallows and other delicious things and lots of inspiration everywhere. It was both fun and relaxing to sit and immerse yourself, and the result was a piece of jewelry. Perfect place for a friends' get-together, a bachelor party or just a creative moment for yourself, as well as spaciousness for people with walkers. I will definitely come again – highly recommended to everyone who loves creativity, quality and a good atmosphere 🌟

12/03/2026: A gem in the harbor of Roskilde, with delicious food (also in the winter season). The restaurant ship Sagafjord has been open on weekends this year over the winter. It is fantastically lovely, but far too few have discovered it. We have enjoyed their good lunch dishes a few times this winter. The food they serve is really nice and you can enjoy the view of the fjord from the front row. We also went to a very nice beer tasting with a lovely well-composed 8-course menu. One of their skilled waiters turned out to be a very knowledgeable beer enthusiast. So we got an exciting lineup of beers from local Roskilde breweries and a finish with mead that turned out to be a surprisingly positive experience. So we can highly recommend Sagafjord also outside the sailing season and hope many more people discover that they are open. So that we can also enjoy their wonderful lunch dishes in the winter half-year in the coming years.

17/02/2026: We had booked our Valentine's dinner here. It's a magical experience to dine on a ship when the fjord is completely frozen 😍😍😍 The staff is lovely and the ambience is great. The food matched the setting :) Full points 😁👍

The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming – you are greeted with a smile and genuine interest. The service is top notch, and the place exudes warmth, history and honesty. Perfect for a quiet moment with a good atmosphere and well-prepared food.
