During my trip to Copenhagen, I visited Alice, and it was without a doubt the best bakery I tried in the city. Copenhagen has many famous bakeries, but Alice was the one that impressed me the most. The first thing I noticed was the atmosphere. The place is small, cozy, and has a very relaxed feeling. It is a perfect spot to have breakfast or simply enjoy a coffee and something sweet. Everything looked fresh and homemade, which made it difficult to choose what to order. The highlight for me was the cardamom bun. It was soft, fresh, and full of flavor without being too sweet. I also really enjoyed the coffee, which went perfectly with the pastry. The quality of the ingredients was noticeable, and everything felt carefully prepared. The staff were friendly, and even though the place can get quite busy, the experience was still enjoyable. The prices are not particularly cheap, but I think the quality makes them completely worth it. Overall, Alice was my favorite bakery in Copenhagen. I would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone visiting the city, especially if they want to try an amazing cardamom bun.

Ice cream is too sweet and gritty for me. Not icy, gritty. Like the added flavour isnt dissolved properly. Also left a very mucusy film In my mouth

It’s a cozy cafe where you can relax and take your time to chill. There may not be fancy look of the food but the food tastes great. The orange juice and coffee (cold brew) are unexpectedly good. I will recommend it if you’re in the neighbourhood.

Not busy in the early afternoon, but still loads of dirty cups etc on the drop off station and tables, that did not get removed. Cardamom bun is a 10/10, Kombucha was a bit over fermented for my taste, a bit on the vinegar-y side. A lot of flies in the café, but not their fault.

Definitely on the pricier side, but very fresh bread & pastries. One of the best cardamom buns I tried in Copenhagen and also great sourdough buns.

Chill café Visited Alice because of the hype on instagram around the cardamom snurre bun, and I can confirm it did not disappoint. Super soft and fluffy while having a subtle cardamom flavor to it. Not dry at all and didn’t feel heavy afterwards. The coffee was just fine, but I would say the pastry’s steel the show for cafe Alice. Good outside sweating to enjoy the morning sun and take in some fresh air. Feels organized and clean inside.

Pistachio ice cream is awful! Also, Seabuckthorn is pretty good.
