Fantastic gastronomic gourmet experience Do you need to know about food when you go out to eat here? No, they have it completely under control for you. Everything is made to order, you feel seen and welcomed by the staff. Wine and food taste great together, you can taste and see that every detail has been thought of 🌸 Would recommend Aagaard Kro at any time, whether it's á la carte or the gourmet menu In my pictures you can see from my visit both for the gourmet menu and from a party I was at.

Aagaard kro is a very special place. The food is elevated to a level that few can deliver, I have a feeling that everything is made from scratch with the best ingredients, every bite is a fantastic taste experience. The inn is located in quiet and beautiful surroundings, which are well-kept and inviting. In connection with the inn, small cozy terraces have been arranged that can be used in good weather. The inn has a beautiful party room, here too everything is in order and the acoustics have been thought about, which is an important detail for a good party.

Var inviteret til fødselsdag på kroen, men skal helt på besøg igen. Vi fik den store menu med 5 retter og ost og alle retterne var super gode med mange fine kokketricks der gjorde det ikke lige var noget jeg lavede hjemme. Startede med 3 appetizers der hver i sær sad lige i skabet. 3 Små himmerigs mundfulde. Og så kom brødet, hvor der var nogle mørke malt stykker og lyse surdejsstykker serveret med alm rørt smør og en grøn ramsløg smør som var både frisk og krydret. Derudover var brødet perfekt til at suge de fantastiske sauce op. Forskellige retter fulgte - alle serveret og introduceret af meget vidende tjenere og sommelier. Specielt var det imponerende da vi fik en vintage port der blev klippet med en glødende ildtang. Ostebordet var også en oplevelse i sig selv og igen med vidende betjening så man fik rådgivning om gode men også kom lidt ud af komfort zonen. Alti alt en formidabel middag og min bedste restaurant oplevelse i 2025!!

A small, charming restaurant in an old roadside inn. The food was magnificent - we opted for the 5-course tasting menu, and it was the culinary highlight on our trip to Europe from the US. The tasting menu updates monthly, but we had 2 seafood courses (halibut and scallop), 1 poultry course (pigeon), pork entree, and dessert. Each savory course was served with a scrumptious sauce, spooned table side by the chef. The courses are reasonably sized so we were satisfied but not stuffed. The restaurant is small and well decorated with historical artifacts from the establishment's long history. Worth a drive and the expense for a fine meal.
