We had to wait an hour for the food, but a really good steak sandwich! It just took cones, it can't be done better

Best tartlets I've tasted in a long time

Pleasant, efficient and really nice food.

We arrived approx. 12:00 on Saturday 21 September 2024. There were many available parking spaces at that time. As soon as you get out of the car, you are greeted by a fantastic view of Borresø and the Gudenå, which is full of canoes, rowing boats and sailboats. We also saw the Hjejlen sail past. When we entered the restaurant, we were immediately shown to our table and given the Menu card. When we had ordered, we waited a long time for the food, but there were also many who had ordered before us. We ordered Fried eel, Wienerschnitzel and Fish and Chips. The fried eels were served in a bowl with a top on, with the accompanying potatoes in another bowl. The fried eels were really well prepared and tasted really good. And there were so many eels that we couldn't finish eating. The others were also very satisfied with their orders. When we had paid, we found a table outside, close to Gudenåen. Here there was a fantastic view of life on the water. We ordered different desserts and drinks. Here it was difficult to get in touch with a waiter. But the food tasted really good again. When we went, all the parking lots were occupied and there were cars parked along the road. We will definitely visit the eel inn again.

Really good food and a delicious menu. The view is fantastic and the service friendly and professional.

The food tasted really good. The service was really lacking, they were busy doing everything but keeping an eye on us after we ran out of drinks.

Fantastically delicious food, nice locations, but hardly any guests and a slightly dull serving.. N.B. If you want more sauce for your food, it costs extra!

Coffee pot for both and apple cake. To the wife, tasted really good. Much needed coffee. .DKK 149.
