Aalekroen Silkeborg

We were a family group of 9 and had a wonderful Christmas buffet. There was a large selection (more than I could eat) and everything tasted so good and was beautifully presented. It is a very cozy and beautiful place and the view certainly does not disappoint. The staff speaks good English which was a relief for the two who had come over from England.

Super cozy place right next to the most beautiful surroundings. The food is absolutely top notch and the service is also really good. The only thing that detracts from an otherwise really good experience is the physical setting. It seems a bit worn and needs a refresh.

A fantastic alternative to the restaurants in Silkeborg. Aalekroen is located like a hidden oasis in Sejs-Svejbæk. Tasty food with large portions and a very atmospheric and beautiful place. Bonus: you can sail there.

A great place to enjoy Danish classics. Reasonable prices. And the setting is really nice!
