Tried the traditional crispy pork. The pork is fried till crispy and nice to eat. But just quite salty for me though. You can also choose to dine on your own boat, indoor or outdoor.

Today it will be Resturant Aalekroen by Silkeborg (Svejbæk) that will have tested their steak sandwich with sauce.
Arrived at 12pm and was immediately shown to a table by the nice waiter.
The food was ordered exactly 12.08 as usual steak sandwich with sauce, I think we are on steak sandwich number 70 in 1 1/2 years, 70 different places 🇩🇰.
The food was served at the table at exactly 12.25 and the first impression is that it looks delicious and inviting on a slightly boring-looking plate.
The bun is a delicious brioche bun at the better end and it is just toasted so that it is both crispy and soft, delicious. The under bun is coated in a delicious, yes very delicious homemade remoulade where you can clearly see small cauliflower and carrot. The remoulade is sweet and flavorful. The top bun is smeared in a delicious sweet/sour mustard, certainly also homemade and somewhat reminiscent of a ravagotti mustard. It is finely tuned and tastes great. The steak is really beautiful, it's a whole 200 grams, I think, and it's fried perfectly where it's pink in the middle and with a delicious roast crust. It is perfectly seasoned with salt and pepper and the meat is really tasty. We find onions in many shades. Soft sweet onions, sour home-pickled red onions which tasted wonderful, finely chopped raw red onions and homemade roasted onions. In addition, there were home-pickled beetroots that tasted like the birds were singing, they had a bite to them and they were pickled sweet and not sour as you often see, it was great to try something different. The home-pickled cucumber salad was perhaps the weak point, the slices were both thick and thin, the thick slices were good with a nice crunch, the thin ones were indifferent and a bit watery, they could have drawn a little more in the layer, but have tried worse. There was a good amount of the sauce and it was a kind of cloudy sauce that tasted great, just when you got it in your mouth it was a bit neutral, but after a few seconds and down your throat it grows on you to become strong and tasty. It is a super composition that has been made here and every element is tasteful. NOK 199.- for this bandit is not exorbitant and it clearly belongs in the top 10 of all the sample tastings we have had, if not even the top 7. We will come again, clear recommendation. 5 out of 5 steak sandwiches.

Fantastic Easter lunch. Where we got a plate.
A fax condi free was conjured up for me.
So I hope that the next time I come I can again buy a sugar-free soda that is not a Coke.

We arrived approx. 12:00 on Saturday 21 September 2024. There were many available parking spaces at that time. As soon as you get out of the car, you are greeted by a fantastic view of Borresø and the Gudenå, which is full of canoes, rowing boats and sailboats.
We also saw the Hjejlen sail past.
When we entered the restaurant, we were immediately shown to our table and given the Menu card.
When we had ordered, we waited a long time for the food, but there were also many who had ordered before us.
We ordered Fried eel, Wienerschnitzel and Fish and Chips.
The fried eels were served in a bowl with a top on, with the accompanying potatoes in another bowl.
The fried eels were really well prepared and tasted really good.
And there were so many eels that we couldn't finish eating.
The others were also very satisfied with their orders.
When we had paid, we found a table outside, close to Gudenåen. Here there was a fantastic view of life on the water.
We ordered different desserts and drinks. Here it was difficult to get in touch with a waiter.
But the food tasted really good again.
When we went, all the parking lots were occupied and there were cars parked along the road.
We will definitely visit the eel inn again.
