Absalon København

Very convenient for the main railway station. Lovely room and pretty quiet despite being on a main road. No option for meals other than breakfast but we found plenty of restaurants within a reasonable distance

Our room was very nice. Small, but very cozy and perfectly adequate for our stay. The staff were consistently very friendly and helpful. We especially liked the central location, as many sights can easily be reached on foot. One point of criticism, however, is the breakfast. Unfortunately, the food was not labeled, so it was not clear which cold cuts were pork, beef, or chicken. Allergens were also not indicated, which can be difficult for guests with intolerances. In addition, pancakes and scrambled eggs were placed together in the same warming container, which made the pancakes smell strongly of eggs. The sound insulation in the room was also not particularly good — you can really hear a lot from the neighboring rooms. It didn’t bother us too much, but it is worth mentioning. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to come back again.

It's a modern hotel with excellent service from reception and the waiters. The breakfast was very complete and delicious. The only issue we had was that the room cleaning, if it was done at all, was insufficient; I don't think they vacuumed, as there were traces of dirt in the bathroom and bedroom. Nevertheless, I recommend it.

Great location - Few minutes walk from the metro and train station, variety of restaurants beside the hotel and nice bar and restaurant in the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially Patrick and Melina. The Front Office Manager, Peter offered us a complimentary room to have our wedding ceremony and we are very grateful. The room was spacious and comfortable!

Good hotel location, 5 mins walk to the metro and train station which makes it super convenient. 3 stops to shopping district. The room is small if you have 2 Large cases. Pillows could be much fluffier. Otherwise it is clean and comfortable.

Nice room, well furnished with good lighting. You can dim the lights creating a nice ambience in the room. The hotel provides a bottle of body gel/shampoo instead of shampoo so minus one star for this. The PH level for shampoo is not the same as body gel so I do not understand why a 4 star hotel will do such a thing. To save cost? Bad for image. Location: Very near to Central Station which enables me to walk to the train station in 5 minutes, with 2 luggage. The bar in the evening is lively with music. A good place to chill. Breakfast, however, is BORING. I saw people circling the buffet table because there isn't much choice. I stayed two days and the 2nd day, only had some ham and tea.

Fantastic hotel in a brilliant location. Hotel is right by the central station and a metro station. within walking distance of Tivoli gardens and also for most other attractions and sights if dont mind getting the steps in. Staff where all amazing and very happy to help with enquiries. Breakfast was a great selection and plenty of time for the early birds and those who like to lie in a bit. The hotel offers an optional green initiative scheme where you can opt out of housekeeping and receive either a bar voucher, reduced bike hire or a selection of toiletries which we where more than happy to do. Our room was lovely, clean and nice decor. Some guests where a little loud when returning to the hotel in the small hours but didn't detract from our stay much at all as it soon quietened down again. A fab hotel with a cozy feel and central Location. 10/10

Excellent stay and amazing coffee

I had a great experience at Absalon Hotel in Copenhagen. The location is excellent – right in the vibrant Vesterbro district and only a short walk from the Central Station, Tivoli Gardens, and many cafes, restaurants, and shops. It’s an ideal base for exploring the city. The service was equally impressive. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to assist with recommendations or practical needs. Their hospitality created a welcoming atmosphere that made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, Absalon Hotel combines a perfect central location with excellent service, making it a top choice for anyone visiting Copenhagen.
