A place we always return to. For guests who love fish. Just watch out for seagulls and rooks who are constantly hunting for your food. Always remember to sit under a parasol.

Probably the best fish and chips in Denmark, simply put. I do recommend trying everything else as well, notably their seafood platter and the stjerneskud. And make sure you try one of their own beers as well. Classic summer Sjælland experience!

Great place! Always crowded but not a very long wait for the food. Note: Their fish fillet with fries is such a large portion that it is enough for two pensioners. 🙂

2026 (6/6) Ordered shrimp and got 8-9 pieces with a lot of batter. The shrimp was soft 🫩 but the salad was fresh. 2025 A more expensive place to eat fish.

Adamsen Deli – fresh fish, harbor atmosphere and summer in Gilleleje Adamsen Deli has become our regular lunch stop when we visit Gilleleje. The location is almost postcard-perfect: right down by the harbor surrounded by fishing boats and working ships – not just a polished marina. Atmosphere & first impressions There is always life at Adamsen. The tables outside are well filled, and the queue to order is often long. I actually came this time with a bit of skepticism. The last few visits, the deep-frying had a bit too much of a “recycled” vibe to it. But this time? 5 stars. The food We ordered: Fish fillet with fries Fish & Chips Pull-yourself shrimp Even with many guests, it went quickly, and when the beeper buzzed, we were excited. Today it was sitting right in the cupboard. Fish & Chips: super fresh fish crispy breading no heavy fried taste just clean and fresh fish taste The fish fillet was also really good, and the self-pickled shrimps were absolutely flawless. Beer The beer selection is not huge: 3 classic industrial beers on tap as well as beer with its own label from Bryggeriet Skands You don't really need anything more when the sun is shining and you're sitting by the harbor with a cold amber beer 😄🍺 Overall experience Relaxed harbor atmosphere, fresh fish and a summer feeling. Conclusion A place we keep coming back to. If you're in Gilleleje and want fresh fish by the harbor, Adamsen Deli is definitely worth the trip.

Good fast service, good despite a bit of a prefab warning and fewer salad leaves, but that's to be expected from an outdoor/summer restaurant, we'd love to come here again
