Albatrossen Brøndby

Albatrossen is really worth a visit. We were served the Matrosen dish and shooting stars. It was really super delicious - best shooting stars ever 👍. The service was TOP👌. Thanks to Michael and Pernille for a wonderful experience.

Great classic danish food blended with really friendly service. My wife and I visited for the first time last week and once you understand you have to go through a door that looks like an office building door ( 4 stars for the atmosphere) and up some stairs the gold is at the top of the stairs. We were greeted with such warmth and friendliness and a nice smile that we immediately felt welcome. We were even asked if we wanted a drink while we were looking at the menu! This sounds so irrelevant but eating out at thousands of restaurant it is such a rare and welcoming thing to hear rather than having to beg to get the waiters attention after dying of thirst! We started off with some really nice steg sild, a very nice gentle warmed with an interesting twist of a small mustard on top. That was really nice. Next we had the classic kartofelletmad and this too was really nicely done. We finished with some nice apple cake washed down with some local Krenkerup øl! All really nice presented and served with a nice outlook over the harbour. This is a place you need to decide to go as most people would pass Brøndby Havn by but, it's well worth it and we will certainly be back.

Vi kom kl 12.00 som de første gæster og blev modtaget af søde medarbejdere. Dejligt alsidigt spisekort. Vi valgte lidt smørrebrød og en kæmpe tartelet, som var helt forrygende. Helt igennem lækker mad.

Such a great restaurant!!! We happened upon the harbor and wanted to celebrate my wife's birthday in style. You can definitely do that at the Albatrossen. The food, service, and ambiance were perfect. Thanks to the team for the fantastic evening.

Lovely place with excellent food & sweet staff.

There was an incredible amount of noise from the other guests in the restaurant. So loud that you couldn't have a conversation! I got a large tartelette, which according to the menu should weigh 500g, mine was much smaller, probably around 350g. It was good and tasty! Otherwise, it seems that mainly open sandwiches are served for lunch.

Nice place and ok Danish food, but very classic. Nice terrace with a view of Køge Bay and very nice service. Have eaten there a couple of times and will definitely return.
