I’ve never experienced anything even remotely similar and it was just fantastic in every way. It’s like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory but for adults!

Dining at the Alchemist was possibly one of our most epic and memorable meals ever. We've been to over 130 Michelin star restaurants and this experience continues to stand out again and again. If you are lucky enough to be able to experience this, don't hesitate as this will be the meal you talk about for many years to come.

The most incredible experience I have enjoyed in many years. The chef, Rasmus Munk and his team do an exceptional job so that from the moment you walk through the door until you leave you enjoy it with all your senses.
A wonderful tasting menu with 50 passes that cannot be explained.
The service is also exceptional.
According to them, imagination is more important than knowledge, I think there are plenty of both.

MIND BLOWING MULTI SENSORY MICHELIN EXPERIENCE!!!!
Whether you are a 1st time diner at a Michelin restaurant or a jaded been there done that diner "Alchemist" will blow your mind in a fantastic melding of food, performance art, multi sensory, wine (or alcohol free ) beverages, amazing service and atmosphere. This was not my first 1, 2 or 3 star Michelin dining experience but I can assure you it will be one for the memory books for sure. my review cannot fully give you the immersive experience that each guest will have while at the Alchemist so if possible when anywhere in the area of Copenhagen this is a MUST DO on anyone's bucket list. I don't want to give away all the unexpected experiences you will have outside of the incredible food (Chef Rasmus Munck is truly a Visionary with a capital V--and a all around nice guy he showed up at our table at least 3 times just serving us and blending in only a few minutes later did we look at each other and say--hold on that was Chef Rasmus!!!) but suffice it to say that even the most jaded traveller/diner will walk away saying to themselves --"holy cow this was truly unique". Our journey took over 5 hours and not once did we feel rushed or pushed and generally although again this is multi sensory from the first minute do not confuse this with meaning it was chaotic or made you feel anxious, actually the exact opposite as we have never been so relaxed and engaged for such a long period of time while dining. Chef Munck's social engagement and social commentary told via the food and experiences you have are right on the money as well. Kudos to everyone who made our evening at Alchemist a truly one of a kind dining experience for the history books. We cannot wait to share this experience with friends and family.

The best dining experience I’ve ever had. The staff was super friendly, and made sure our experience was perfectly in order. When it comes to the food… words are not enough to express their taste. It was not just a delicious meal but a sensory tease in every aspect. Visuals, music, the stories and morals behind each dish… This is a must visit experience for everyone seeking more than just food and taste. I can not call this place just a restaurant, as it is way more than that. I wouldn’t imagine a dish could change my perspective in different aspects of life and made me more conscious about deep topics that we don’t really think about in our daily lives. Outstanding!

The most well executed, efficient, and professional service I have experienced in an establishment. The entire team from start to finish displayed an impeccable performance in ensuring a perfect service to us.
Food was fun, avant garde, and unique that matched the visuals and adventure throughout the meal. Definitely one of my most memorable dining experiences!

Incredible well-planned experience. Fantastic food obviously, but also a really pleasent vibe, surprising audio/visual experiences, and a sharp critical focus on issues of our time (much respect for using your position to create impact through awareness).

What makes Alchemist unforgettable is the way it turns food into art, science, and storytelling all at once. It’s not just about what you’re eating—it’s about what you’re feeling, thinking, and experiencing in the moment.
One dish that really stuck with me was a dessert inspired by The Scream. It played with synesthesia, where senses blur together, letting you taste colors. The orange section tasted exactly like fresh citrus, while the blue had a deep, ocean-like salinity. As I followed the instructions to eat from bottom to top, I reached a shockingly sour burst of acidity—so intense it felt like the dish itself was screaming on my taste buds.
Another moment that made me stop and just take it in was a portrait of Pablo Picasso, printed in layers of white bean stew using a 3D printer. It was served on a glowing light box, making it feel almost too artistic to eat.
Alchemist was an entirely different experience from NOMA—far more psychedelic in concept and immersive in execution. One of the highlights was Rasmus Munk himself stopping by our table multiple times, adding a personal touch that made the night feel even more special.
By contrast, despite my VIP package and signed book purchases, René Redzepi seemed too busy to engage with guests at NOMA. Given Alchemist’s high-energy, theatrical atmosphere, I was impressed that Munk still took the time to connect with diners.
I’ll absolutely be back on my next visit—and next time, I plan to take psychedelics to push the experience even further.
Overall, I would say that Alchemist is very much worth going for the sheer creativity and the grand scope. It was the most ambitious restaurant I've ever been to!
