This restaurant offers an extraordinary culinary and visual experience. It's a shame it's so crowded, as it lacks the cozy atmosphere one might hope for. And definitely don't order a French coffee; they clearly don't know what that is.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Culinary Experience Beyond Michelin—Alchemist, Copenhagen I travelled all the way to Copenhagen to meet my daughter, who has been working inside the extraordinary world of the Alchemist kitchen for the past month. Having dined in many three-Michelin-star restaurants around the world, I arrived with high expectations—yet what I experienced went far beyond anything I could have imagined. Alchemist is not simply a restaurant. It is another dimension. A theatrical universe where hospitality, creativity, science, humility, and imagination merge into something closer to art than to gastronomy. Every moment is choreographed with precision: from the lighting to the transitions between acts, from the storytelling behind each dish to the gracious way the team guides you through it. Nothing feels staged; everything feels authentic, intentional, and deeply human. The food reaches intellectual and emotional levels that only very few kitchens in the world have the courage—or the capacity—to explore. These are not dishes; they are messages, reflections, provocations. Flavors that stay with you long after dinner, memories that are cinematic in texture and emotional impact. Having worked myself for decades in top-level hospitality around the world, I can confidently say: this is a place operating on a different frequency. Not just the finest ingredients, not just flawless technique—here we are on Planet Mars. Hospitality is something extremely difficult to perfect, yet at Alchemist it feels effortless. Elegant, warm, deeply respectful. Every gesture is meaningful; every interaction is genuine. You don’t feel like a guest—you feel like part of something extraordinary. A heartfelt thank you to Andrea for guiding us with grace throughout the entire journey—warm, precise, and impeccably attentive. And an immense appreciation to Chef Rasmus, who personally visits every single table, ensuring that each diner is not only satisfied, but truly experiencing perfection. That gesture alone speaks volumes about leadership, humility, and vision. Alchemist is not a meal. It is not a dinner. It is a journey—intellectual, emotional, sensory. I left with admiration, gratitude, and the certainty that in the world of gastronomy there is a before and an after an experience like this. Simply unforgettable. A visit to Alchemist is not “just” a dinner – it is a journey. A unique total experience, where you are taken through a multitude of taste universes, visual impressions and small stories, which together create an evening you will not soon forget. You are guided from scene to scene, where each serving is a small work of art in itself – both in taste, aroma, aesthetics and thought. It is a gastronomic theater performance, where you are constantly surprised, challenged and impressed. The service is absolutely top class, the atmosphere is magical, and the whole place exudes perfection and creativity. It is a place where you should not only eat, but experience. Alchemist undoubtedly deserves 5 stars – and more. An extraordinary journey through the senses, which all food lovers should treat themselves to at least once in their lives.

Had the pleasure of dining here and it was phenomenal. From the second we entered until the very last minute we were treated like royals. The service, food, atmosphere, everything is perfect. Would pick this experience over any other fine dining venue in the nordics. The food not only tells a story and makes the guest reflect and think, but tastes absolutely incredible. The blend and balance of flavors and textures is incredible. The harmony between visuals and sound is well executed and pairs well with the dishes served. The drinks are fantastic, and at one point everyone in the dining area gets a flow in the dark one for a unique shared moment! They show you around the venue, including a ball room and a dancing lady. For some I can see how this is odd, or even awkward… however we loved the experience! Fine dining doesn’t have to be restricted to be a sit down quiet dinner, it can be fun and experimental! Well done.
