Oplevelse af en anden verden. Dette er ikke bare en restaurant, men en oplevelse ud over madoplevelsen. Maden var fantastisk i sig selv med en masse historier og forklaringer, men selve stedet var en oplevelse også. Og så tilføjet et stort antal tjenere med udsøgt viden og service. Det var fantastisk det hele - lidt mange penge at bruge på en aften. Men vi vil gøre det igen på et tidspunkt, for selvom det er mange penge, så kan man ikke sige at det er dyrt med den mad, service og oplevelse man får.

It's the overall experience that makes this restaurant so special. This composition of ambience, music, video installation, presentation of excellent food, great wines and warm service is unique in my opinion.

Visited The Alchemist on Tuesday with my husband. The staff were fantastic—attentive and professional—and the atmosphere was beautifully curated, with stunning presentation throughout the evening. However, we were disappointed with the actual experience. The menu promises 50 “impressions” (or courses), but we only received 25. For a place that markets itself as a unique, high-end experience, this was a real letdown. After 6 hours and 25 courses we left hungry—which should not happen at a fine dining spot charging this much—and it felt misleading to pay for 50 courses but receive only half. Sadly, it felt like style over substance. A shame, because it could have been incredible. Thank you to the team for their effort and hospitality!

Un ristorante stellato? Non solo; uno spettacolo di digital art? Non solo; un luogo ove meditare sul mondo in cui viviamo? Non solo. Alchemist è di più, è unico, è sorprendente. Dall’entrata, dove una imponente porta si apre dopo una voluta attesa, al primo approccio con foto e video in una stanza buia; ancora: la prima sala dell’aperitivo dove si capisce che la qualità del cibo sarà eccezionale, la scelta dei vini imponente, il servizio perfetto. Uno champagne e si sale nell’astronave dov tutta la cena, fatta di decine di meravigliosi assaggi, da vini sconosciuti (da noi scelti) altrettanto meravigliosi, è accompagnata da proiezioni digitali con temi che cambiano continuamente, spiegati ove necessario da eccezionali camerieri (per noi rigorosamente italiani) che dimostrano preparazione, competenza, capacità di relazionarsi con il cliente come mai mi è capitato. Si finisce giocando e disegnando sui muri con la cioccolata e poi in una sala finale, dove su comodi divani si gustano dei dolcetti e un porto eccezionale, con lo chef Rasmus (un vero genio) che familiarizza e si fa fotografare con gli ospiti. Il conto “non conta” per una volta nella vita (e spero anche di più) si può spendere senza pensarci per vivere un’esperienza unica, indimenticabile oltre che per mangiare e bere benissimo.
