Best lunch I've had in ages. A stones throw from the bustle of Nyhaven but a world away in terms of quality. Amazing food in tasteful surroundings. Wish we had found this venue earlier in our trip as we would certainly have returned. Thank you for a wonderful lunch.

A nice small but cozy restaurant with very tasty typical Danish food. The price is pleasant for Danish standards. The service was very friendly. I can recommend the Renaissance beer with the tartare.

The best place while traveling in Denmark. Royal Copenhagen tableware was used, and it felt like a lot of care was put into decorating the entire restaurant, so the whole experience was beautiful. Danish restaurants usually charge for water per person, so I just drank tea. Since we are students, we don't have money, so we can't drink beer or wine, but we usually seem to have a good time drinking and eating together. I had meatballs, curry marinated herring, and roast beef, and they all tasted good. However, the combination of curry and fish is so familiar to Koreans that it may bring back memories of school lunches. The roast beef was okay. It's a really beautiful store, the prices are reasonable, and the employees are really friendly, so it remains a good memory. I plan to visit again and definitely want to try other menu items.

Fantastic small restaurant with a real family feel. The white tea and the roast beef dish were amazing. The vast history was explained in the menu. Great meal! Reasonably priced. It was almost full when we arrived but the very friendly staff arranged a table for us.

Place to return! Friendly and knowledgeable owner and waitresses. Excellent service with a lot of attention to the table and the place. Good quality Danish dishes. Advised.

Cozy Danish lunch restaurant in an old Danish atmosphere with old Danish dishes Cozy little lunch restaurant that exudes everything Danish. The interior too - was full of old Danish effects. We had 2 lunch dishes - a tenderloin a la creme and an Amalie's Adventure. My tenderloin a la creme was lovely tender and the sauce well-flavoured, while Amalie's Adventure was a slightly more special experience consisting of smoked ham, fresh chicken and a mushroom sauce. It didn't sit right in the cupboard.

Hyggelig lille frokostrestaurant der udstråler alt hvad der er dansk. Indretningen ligeså - var fyldt med gamle danske effekter. Vi fik 2 frokostretter - en mørbrad a la creme og en Amalies Eventyr. Min mørbrad a la creme var dejlig mør og saucen godt til smagt, hvor Amalies Eventyr var en lidt mere speciel oplevelse bestående med røget skinke, fersk kylling og en svampesauce. Den sad ikke lige i skabet.

Found this place listed on the Michelin guide. Booked two weeks advance and had many reservation spots left. Was asked to move the reservation on the day (unsure why) but we were flexible thus this was no problem. It was our first time trying traditional danish food! The place was filled with locals. Food was delicious with warmth. The fish was great - one of the best fish dishes we tried! The place is quite small and was packed but still had great ambience. Very friendly staff. The menu comes in various languages so had no problem choosing meals. It also has recommendations for drinks so even made it easier for us to choose!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce restaurant, l'acceuil et le lieu étaient très chaleureux, et les plats délicieux. Nous avons vraiment eu l'impression de nous plonger dans la gastronomie danoise, et c'est exactement ce que nous cherchions lors de notre voyage. N'hésitez pas à tester ce restaurant, vous ne serez pas déçus ! :)
