Amalielund Mad Horsens

We went to an exciting open-faced sandwich buffet and were greeted by a young smiling and service-minded staff. BUT! Where is the sign on the facade that says this is Amalie Lund Mad? We actually turned around and let the GPS lead us to the place. Live near Kolding.

The staff is super nice and really friendly. The service was as it should be. I had ordered pasta with ham and chorizo ​​sausages and a lot of other things. I don't know what I expected, but I know I won't have all that meat stuff in it again, because the dish was far too salty for me to order it again. It tasted fine apart from that. The place itself was also really nice, it's a café, but I couldn't help but think of a school canteen when I sat there. We sat there while it was raining and there weren't many other guests.

Cozy, but food 🤔🤔🤔 Little flies in tomato salad, food on the grill stays for quite a while.

The food is classic with all the trimmings, good preparation, enough of it..

The food tasted as good as their service - smiles and presence from all employees. 😁 The only negative experience we had was probably that the main course was so filling that we had to skip the “pre-selected” desserts! 😂

Really good food, and plenty of it. Good service. A place that probably deserves a visit when we end up in that area again.

We were heading south on vacation and were getting hungry. We couldn't bear McDonald's, so we looked for a place to eat close to the highway. We were directed to Amalielund Mad, which was only 5 minutes from the highway. Since it was close to closing time, we called ahead to make sure we weren't driving in vain. A very nice girl said we could just stop by, and when we arrived 5 minutes later, she had set a table for us. We had the most delicious burgers and cold beers in beautiful, quiet surroundings. Nice, talented young people, we can definitely recommend driving that way if you are near Horsens.
