Delicious food! Really juicy steaks! Good fast service and great atmosphere!

We had a short overnight stay at Faaborg Hostel and Amelie’s was therefore perfectly located, just around the corner. There was a cozy atmosphere outside. People were chatting across tables. It seemed very local. I ordered a no. 4 (400gr steak with bacon) and for my daughter a no. 15 (hotwings). I got a milkshake as well. My burger was nicely fried, but something was missing. There wasn’t much flavor to be had. Could have missed a stronger cheese or a more spicy steak. My daughter usually goes for hotwings at McDonald’s, which she described as significantly tastier than the ones she was served here. Both portions arrived with a basketful of fries. They were crispy and tasty. There was some standard chili mayo on the side. It seemed ok. My milkshake, on the other hand, was absolutely perfect. I got almost American vibes while drinking it. Served with whipped cream and a straw. The prices were reasonable for the portion sizes. If the weather is bad, you should probably sit inside, where I sense it can get a bit crowded.

If you love burgers, you should eat one here. Very well prepared, absolutely delicious, ready quickly, and a clean place. (The music is sometimes weird 🤣)

The burgers were truly divine, sensationally delicious. We ate here on the way back from Egeskov Castle to Assens. It was more than worth the short detour.
