the perfect place if you are after good food and outstanding service. i stayed in Copenhagen for 5 days and ate here for 4 after my second day finding the place, the best steak around the area and the staff is super nice and attentive, especially Daniela was my waiter for 3 out of the 4 days and i could have been happier with the service, food, quality and speed, even Saturday evening they were practically fully booked due to some event nearby and they still managed to accommodate a space for one - thank you @ The American crew - absolutely amazing

Visited The American after some shopping. Ordered a salmon sandwich and chicken burger — both amazing! Friendly staff, portions just right. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area!
