The Andersen Bakery chain has long been one of our favorites, consistently delivering high-quality products. The range here is a significant strength, showcasing the best of Danish baking. They master everything from the light and fluffy 'teboller' (tea balls) to the dense, dark rye breads characteristic of Scandinavia. The bakery also offers several unique creations, such as a mini loaf of dense rye bread studded with chocolate chips—a combination that works surprisingly well. This particular location in West Amager is especially charming, with its proximity to the waterfront providing a lovely setting. As a minor point of feedback, we did find one item, the mistle cookie, to be overly sweet for our personal taste, but this is a small note in an otherwise excellent selection. With its Japanese roots and unwavering commitment to quality, the Andersen chain continues to stand out as one of the best bakeries in the Danish capital. I stayed in Copenhagen for a week, and every morning I rode my bike here to get breakfast for the whole family. The rhubarb brioche is the absolute best, but there's nothing else here that isn't top-notch. The price is absolutely worth the price.

The Miso caramel croissant is the best pastry I've tasted in a long long while. It's salty, sweet, chewy, a bit crispy as well as buttery. It's a perfect portion size. Flawless. 10/10. The coffee here is mid. My friend's chai was much better than the coffee.

Accidentally ended up there while waiting for our goboat. Best croissant, pain au chocolat and pastries I had in a very long time. An absolute must. Did I mention they won several awards?

Wow, this bakery is easily a contender for the best bakery I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to a lot of bakeries. We had the rhubarb croissant and this cinnamon bun. They were insanely delicious! Their pastries are very decadent yet not too sweet, with a nice balance of flavors. If you want a decadent sweet treat, this is definitely the best spot to get it from in Copenhagen. All the other pastries that we didn’t try, looked just as delicious.

Ok place with delicious cakes and sandwiches, but the service is not good and the tables are dirty and not cleared.

Los pasteles eran increíbles, el capuchino era increíble. La panadería es linda por dentro, el personal es agradable. El único inconveniente era la línea, pero eso solo indica lo bueno que es. 100% recomiendo!
