Slow service, overall just a weird experience. Food ok but nothing wow.

Nice food and cozy place. A little confusion about when to order. But it worked out. But the price for a 1/2 L cola in a plastic bottle served with a glass next to it without ice is just high enough, if there was ice in the glass and for example a lemon slice with it, then it was okay 👌

First impression was a clearly inexperienced "waiter" who did not seem comfortable or confident in the role, it took quite a long time to get the food. Both parts were listed as the dish of the day, (89). The pork roast was nice and reasonably standard, but the portion was simply too small. The ham schnitzel seemed a little bigger and nicer in general. I had the feeling when I was going to pay the schnitzel would be put in at normal price. The "waiter" had not been informed that it had been reduced, not that it would become a problem. But it should be known when there is an offer, with time and more experience it can become a really good place.

If you want really fabulous food in Mariager go to this restaurant! Due to the fact that this restaurant has a low overall review score, we nearly didn't eat here. I'm so glad we did! The new owner has taken a Danish menu and added a twist to it, which is really refreshing and delicious. I had the Spanish omelet with home made beetroot, Guacamole and rugbrød and my Husband had the pork tenderloin. Both were outstanding. We WILL be back!
