19/08/2026: Had a wonderful experience at Viking Surf House. The recommendations were spot on, the facilities were great, and everything was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The whole staff was incredibly friendly and made the stay feel special. I highly recommend it if you want a surf experience in Denmark — the "Cold Hawaii" is truly worth it. My one bit of feedback would be around surf safety: I felt that some of the safety guidance around actually getting in the water could have been more thorough. Nothing that ruined the experience, but something worth strengthening for less experienced surfers. Thank you for a memorable stay!

17/08/2026: It was my second stay at Viking Surf House and both the accomodation as well as the surf lessons have always been great. It feels more like friends and family rather than a business while still retaining every aspect of professionality you could ask for. I will definitely come back another time :)

21/08/2026: Chose a maternity basket for 300 kr. Neutral colors. Cute contents, especially the little crocheted hat. I got a text message with a picture before packing. Then you can first check the contents and see if it's fine or if you want something else. That's what I call service!

17/08/2026: I feel guilty for not trying the food here sooner after living in Frederikshavn for 6 years. Food is amazing and the owner is super friendly.

13/08/2026: We were there today with the kids, for the first time, and I have to say the place is amazing! 👌🍻☺️ The food was absolutely delicious ☺️ The atmosphere and the service were a 10 out of 10. I have to say, this place has something special about it. We'll definitely be back and will recommend it to others. ☺️👌

18/08/2026: Small pizzeria with four seats The pizza was incredibly delicious! The service was fantastic – our kids were thrilled – #verychildfriendly! Everything was fresh! Definitely worth a visit.

24/07/2026: We arrived a little late in the day, asked if they could find a place for us despite the sign that they were not taking more tables if you didn't have a reservation. They could find a place for us if we could live with the fact that it would take a little longer for food to be delivered. From ordering to having food on the table it took 20 minutes. We were VERY happy with that. Especially when the food tastes so fabulously good. The burgers were super delicious and juicy, the fish and chips were crispy without being dry and your tartar dressing was fantastic. But the icing on the cake was the portion of Moules Frites we got. We have eaten Moules Frites many times, also in France - and NEVER have we had such delicious mussels as we had with you. We are happy to accept the recipe - it was so delicious!

21/07/2026: Best soft ice cream in Denmark. There is always a queue, but it is worth the wait and the price is absolutely rock bottom. Biggest recommendations from here.

21/07/2026: We stopped by and it was a really good experience. The prices are almost unbelievable: 10 kr. for a small soft ice cream, 15 kr. for a medium and only 20 kr. for a large. Sprinkles cost just 5 kr., so the whole family can have a delicious ice cream without breaking the budget. The ice cream itself was really good – creamy, tasty and with a perfect consistency. The combination of the good quality and the very low prices makes the place an obvious stop on a hot summer day. Highly recommended if you are in the area and want a good soft ice cream at a price that you can hardly find anymore. We will definitely be back!

13/08/2026: The food and drinks were on point as always. But we had only ordered two hours as we had a backlog. But something went wrong so we didn't get dessert. That's an important detail they should have had more control over.

02/08/2026: Really a fantastic place to come, and we actually had a special experience when the side table suddenly called the waiter over, said they didn't want to wait any longer, and they hadn't either, as they had drunk bubbles and eaten snacks for the first 40 minutes, just like the rest of us had enjoyed ourselves, but the young lady said they would like to pay for what they had had, and then they wanted to leave, despite their serving being on the serving table. I must say that the young waiter showed character when he said that he was very sorry, but the snacks and bubbles were on the house bill.... well done 💪🍾🥂 because that party was completely out of control, they simply weren't okay with their behavior. 02/07/2026: Simply love Kesses Hus. Service is great and very cute dining area with both indoor and outdoor seating space, great simple and calm atmosphere. The pancakes are so delicious and tasty! Both the savoury and the sweet ones. They are filling as well. Just yum yum yum! One of my favourite places for lunch or dinner or dessert in Klitmøller.

25/06/2026: I bought my favorite chai via the website at a good price. The goods were packaged safely and sensibly and the order was shipped quickly. There is a good selection of gluten-free items!

12/07/2026: We got takeaway from here, and we are actually left with the feeling of not getting a meal that corresponds to the price in any way. The adults each ordered a "Luxury Burger with Lobster Tails", which was just small, and did not contain more than 5-6 lobster tails each. It is a burger for 249 kr each. So I had clearly expected more. The worst thing was the children's dish, Fish Frikadelle with potatoes. I should have seen it said in the singular, but it was SO small. I would guess that it was half the size of a mini frikadelle from a supermarket. The small frikadelle was accompanied by 5 boiled potatoes. It is simply too little food for 89 kr. We really feel ripped off. We will not be eating from here again.

05/07/2026: Couldn't get a table in Skagen for Sct. Hans. Stopped in Frederikshavn. Really good fish restaurant run by a fishmonger. Feel free to book a table. Cheaper and maybe better than the ones in Skagen.

07/08/2026: A selection of games for the kids, nice art for the adults. Lovely street side cafe. If you are feeling hungry, go here!
