17/09/2026: As a traveling fitter, I go to many places. I always go for good Danish food. Café Feen is one of the best places I've been. Koge mutter is so wonderfully fresh. You can always stick your head out to her and say thank you for the food. I had their Wienerschnitzel with fried potatoes and butter sauce. Super delicious. For dessert I had a pancake with ice cream. She cooks all the food herself. Koge mutter also makes the dish of the day which she advertises on her Facebook page. I can only give them my best recommendations. Remember to book a table.

15/09/2026: We visited this charming little Danish café today. It's decorated with so much love and attention to detail. You can also buy a few things to take home. We received a very warm welcome and were (unfortunately) immediately recognized as non-Danes and asked if we would prefer an English or German menu. Very thoughtful. Since it wasn't busy, the service was quick and we didn't have to wait long for our food. I think she runs the place single-handedly, hence the note about waiting on the menu. Beautifully presented plates with generous portions arrived. The food was truly excellent! And all at a great price. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling in Frederikshavn and the surrounding area.

01/10/2026: Very difficult to find faults or things that were not right. I was a satisfied man after the visit, and had a wonderful experience both in terms of food and with beer and schnapps 😊

15/09/2026: Fantastic food. Big pieces of open sandwiches and the most amazing butter fried fish fillet with hand peeled shrimp. The butter fried fish fillet is a must. Really sweet and fast service. Cozy old-fashioned atmosphere with old cozy melodies playing in the background. Definitely recommended.

29/09/2026: Bought a beautiful mug by RG Ceramic online at "Handmade by". Very fast shipping meant super fast delivery a few days later to my place. The mug fully lived up to the picture on the website. I could easily buy again from "Handmade by"

07/09/2026: We visited Havs several times for ice cream, coffee, or a drink, as it's practically the only place in Nørlev Strand to get ice cream, a snack, or coffee. It's actually a very nice spot, especially when the weather is good; the spacious terrace is a great place to sit. Ryå's soft-serve ice cream is good, even if the portions are smaller than at the one in Lønstrup, and the freshly brewed coffee is also delicious. Unfortunately, the Aperol Spritz was very disappointing. The proportions were completely off; there was a distinct lack of Aperol and Prosecco, and it barely tasted of Aperol. At 80 DKK, that's unacceptable. A real shame. Another downside was that, despite the fact that there were only a few customers, the outdoor tables remained dirty for days, even though there were sometimes four people working at once. Glass rings, stains, and dust were visible for days, and guests had inadvertently wiped the metal tabletops with their clothing. Some of the seat cushions were quite grubby and stained. This could be improved and unfortunately detracts from the overall impression. However, the young staff were friendly, helpful, and easy to work with.

20/09/2026: Great experience! We had 2 different ramen, both of which were tasty. They weren't the best I've ever had, but were still thoroughly enjoyed. Top service: We tried their steamed dumplings, which weren't to our taste, but the staff were very friendly and allowed us to swap them for their gyoza instead. I would definitely recommend the place; Very reasonable prices, friendly staff and tasty ramen. 😊🍜

28/09/2026: Quite decent accommodation, with a good restaurant, a bit secluded breakfast due to lack of signage, but otherwise good. An excellent alternative to cramped rooms and streets in Aarhus.

13/09/2026: We stayed there with our two Malinois and they really enjoyed their stay. There was a dog bed, food samples and a water bowl laid out when we arrived and we could park right outside the room so it was easy to get the dogs into the room and walk them. We didn't bring the dogs in and eat at the restaurant ourselves, but it was possible to see if they could eat with them and they have a menu for dogs, and the menu was really well put together. And the inn is in good surroundings, with lots of nature nearby. We can definitely recommend it and we are also planning to stay again. It was nice to have a place that really makes it easier to have dogs on holiday.
