21/08/2026: Chose a maternity basket for 300 kr. Neutral colors. Cute contents, especially the little crocheted hat. I got a text message with a picture before packing. Then you can first check the contents and see if it's fine or if you want something else. That's what I call service!

17/09/2026: As a traveling fitter, I go to many places. I always go for good Danish food. Café Feen is one of the best places I've been. Koge mutter is so wonderfully fresh. You can always stick your head out to her and say thank you for the food. I had their Wienerschnitzel with fried potatoes and butter sauce. Super delicious. For dessert I had a pancake with ice cream. She cooks all the food herself. Koge mutter also makes the dish of the day which she advertises on her Facebook page. I can only give them my best recommendations. Remember to book a table.

15/09/2026: We visited this charming little Danish café today. It's decorated with so much love and attention to detail. You can also buy a few things to take home. We received a very warm welcome and were (unfortunately) immediately recognized as non-Danes and asked if we would prefer an English or German menu. Very thoughtful. Since it wasn't busy, the service was quick and we didn't have to wait long for our food. I think she runs the place single-handedly, hence the note about waiting on the menu. Beautifully presented plates with generous portions arrived. The food was truly excellent! And all at a great price. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling in Frederikshavn and the surrounding area.

17/08/2026: A great place for authentic Danish food. The portions are generous; one or at most two per person is plenty. Everything is delicious, with excellent quality and presentation. The service from the waitresses is outstanding. Friendly from the moment we arrived and very attentive. It's a pleasure to eat in places like this.

28/08/2026: Lovely place, nice interior to start. Welcome was good and when we asked to extend our prepaid menu it was no problem. Staff friendly and attentive however why ask your guests if they can confirm they have booked and paid in advance via the hotel? I would have called the hotel first? Food was good and the wine and juice pairing good. Personally we found the main course a bit to salty. The end disappointed a bit. After the dessert nobody asked if we wanted coffee or tea or the check. And noone helped us when leaving after paying. However...it was a nice experience, good food and wines so despite the end it was overall a good experience.

07/09/2026: We visited Havs several times for ice cream, coffee, or a drink, as it's practically the only place in Nørlev Strand to get ice cream, a snack, or coffee. It's actually a very nice spot, especially when the weather is good; the spacious terrace is a great place to sit. Ryå's soft-serve ice cream is good, even if the portions are smaller than at the one in Lønstrup, and the freshly brewed coffee is also delicious. Unfortunately, the Aperol Spritz was very disappointing. The proportions were completely off; there was a distinct lack of Aperol and Prosecco, and it barely tasted of Aperol. At 80 DKK, that's unacceptable. A real shame. Another downside was that, despite the fact that there were only a few customers, the outdoor tables remained dirty for days, even though there were sometimes four people working at once. Glass rings, stains, and dust were visible for days, and guests had inadvertently wiped the metal tabletops with their clothing. Some of the seat cushions were quite grubby and stained. This could be improved and unfortunately detracts from the overall impression. However, the young staff were friendly, helpful, and easy to work with.

26/08/2026: Favourite café in Hirtshals. We come back every year. Delicious food and cakes, nice atmosphere. See website before visiting, in the off-season it‘s not open every day.

05/09/2026: Nice place if you want a cold steak that just gets a trip in the microwave or if you think it's fine for kids to run around with their bare asses. The fries were the highlight of the meal along with the gravy. Unfortunately does not live up to the reputation. The chef thought the food was as it should be.

04/09/2026: Small but excellent restaurant. Everyone loved it. The fish and chips were delicious, the pepper steak was tasty, and the burgers and mussels were also great. We highly recommend it!
