My girlfriend and I wanted to go out for a meal at the last minute, Most of the restaurants we knew were booked, we were overcome with appetite, had never heard of it, and what a wonderful experience, fantastic food, really good service with competent waiters, and not least wonderful wine, We have found our regular restaurant, already looking forward to the next visit. Incredible food and service! They were able to seat us as walk-ins despite a busy night of reservations and we're very attentive with courses and cocktail service. We had an excellent time :)

14/07/2026: All in all, a fantastic experience in the best cafe atmosphere. Super cozy atmosphere and almost like visiting grandparents. The home-cured salmon on toast was a real eye-catcher. And the addition of a (maybe two) cold lines of akvavit certainly didn't make it any worse.
12/07/2026: A good cup of coffee in a lovely courtyard. Good and friendly service.

07/04/2026: Very nice location in Hornbæk - close to the water and beach. The breakfast is quite basic and limited. Unfortunately, Cappuccino and other drinks cost extra and they do not prepare fresh egg dishes.
25/03/2026: Got a deal on Gourmetophold, and chose an extra day. Got a nice room with plenty of space. The bed was nice. The bathroom was missing a few hooks, in our opinion. Gourmet dinner with wine menu was very delicious. All five courses were beautifully prepared and the accompanying wines as well. The service was just perfect. The breakfast was beautifully prepared, and plenty of homemade bread, freshly made waffles and more. We were very full. Hope to have the opportunity to visit Hotel Bretagne again.
