The most delicious food I have tasted in Denmark was classic, varied and really tasty Syrian food. I hope everyone gets the chance to try it!

Really scrumptious halal food options in Helsingor in 🇩🇰 next to the beautiful castle which predominantly a Syrian tapas and other specialties. In the spring of 2020, all the scarce free time was spent building the hive, finding suppliers of the right ingredients, cooking, tasting and adjusting. The result can be smelled from afar and tastes as good as it smells. Now you have the opportunity to get wonderful Syrian tapas plates, taste original Sish Kebab and fresh homemade falafel. The hosts' warm openness, confidence and love are absolutely world-class.

30/08/2025: I found the miso ramen with crispy chicken very tasty. It's a really large portion, enough for both of us. The service was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere at Vaerftets Madmarked is really cool; I really like it here.
08/08/2025: Stopped here while on a Sweden bus tour. I got noodles and crispy chicken and it was very filling and tasty. I wasnt able to finish all of the noodles as the portion was very large, but I really enjoyed it. The gentleman that worked the counter was very friendly and responded well to English. There is SOOO MUCH seating here on very comfortable couches.

14/09/2025: Super cozy place with the best authentic Italian food you can imagine. And at a very fair price. Incredibly polite service. So remember to book a table :-)
02/08/2025: Super nice place, where we sat outside under the big beautiful tree. Got sandwiches that tasted good. 2 min to the small harbor.
