This is the first Michelin experience that I have had and I am really glad I came to ARK for it. The service was great and the food left me laughing to myself (it was just that good). All I could think was: how on earth did they do this? And when can I come back?

An unforgettable plant-based fine dining experience!
Dining at Ark in Copenhagen was an absolute highlight. The nine-course tasting menu was a creative journey through flavors, textures, and presentation – every dish a masterpiece. I don’t eat mushrooms, even though Ark takes great pride in growing their own, and I was impressed by how thoughtfully they adapted the menu for me. Each alternative was outstanding.
The drink pairings were equally impressive – innovative, beautifully matched, and delicious. Everything felt intentional and perfectly balanced.
Special thanks to Alex, our main server, who guided us through the evening with warmth, knowledge, and care. He explained each course in detail and made us feel truly welcome. The entire team was attentive, kind, and deeply professional.
A wonderful final touch: we were given the printed menu as a keepsake on recycled paper embedded with forget-me-not seeds, a beautiful way to remember the evening by planting them at home.
Ark is more than a restaurant – it’s an experience. The attention to detail, sustainability, and hospitality shines through in every aspect. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a plant-based fine dining experience that’s both elegant and exciting.

We visited ARK as part of a surprise trip to Copenhagen for my girlfriend’s birthday, and it was without a doubt one of the most memorable highlights of our stay.
The entire experience was incredible from start to finish. The food was truly outstanding. As someone who usually eats meat, I never once felt like I was missing out. Every dish was thoughtful, creative, and bursting with flavour; beautifully showcasing how exciting plant-based dining can be. The mushrooms from their own farm were a particular standout!
What really elevated the evening though was the service. Our waiter was exceptional, describing each course and wine pairing with such warmth, insight, and enthusiasm that it made every plate feel like a story. It genuinely added so much to the experience and left us smiling course after course.
ARK isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a celebration of sustainability, creativity, and hospitality. We’re so grateful to have spent such a special evening here, and we hope to return one day. Thank you, ARK!

Innovative and delicious! Clearly the chefs have a deep and storied history of working with plant based cuisine and it shines in this menu. From the top, it impressed, stunned, and left us excited to return next time we're in Copenhagen. The only thing that seems like it could use refining is the dessert portion of the menu. The fermented pairing was so impressive all on its own, and perfectly balanced each dish. Overall, a masterclass that has earned its place among the best vegan restaurants in the world.

Elegant establishment with focus on plant based cuisine and sustainability. Menu was 9 courses and creative with great attention to detail given to plating and explanation. Wine pairings were very thoughtful and helped bring out underlying flavours. I never had asparagus in a dessert before but somehow it worked. Staff were amazing. Professional attentive and knowledgeable. Not an ounce of pretention. Nice use of local ingredients. Use of colour was delightful

Elegant, essential, refined—this plant-based restaurant is an experience I recommend because it tells a local, sustainable, and circular story. I chose the menu with the non-alcoholic pairing and highly recommend it because it complements and deepens the experience of each course and amazes with its exploration of flavor through fermentation and the use of original ingredients. It's not cheap, but the quality is worth the price.

Arc Restaurant delivers an exceptional dining experience: attentive service, beautifully plated dishes, and a welcoming atmosphere. Every course was thoughtfully presented, showcasing the chef’s skill and creativity.
That said, I found the seasoning on some plates a touch heavy for my palate—slightly less salt would let the natural flavors shine through. While the all-vegetarian menu is inspiring, the reliance on grilled mushrooms for multiple courses became a bit monotonous and overly smoky over time. It would be wonderful to see greater variety in core ingredients—perhaps pairing a mushroom course with one featuring fennel, another highlighting different cabbages or interesting root vegetables, and even incorporating legumes or grains for texture and color contrast. Additionally, exploring varied cooking methods—fried, baked, steamed, and so on—instead of predominantly grilled preparations would help balance the persistent smoky, bitter notes.
Overall, Arc is a five-star gem, and with just a few tweaks to seasoning, ingredient rotation, and cooking techniques, its creativity and flair will feel even more vibrant.

What a beautiful place. Stylish and warm and a calm atmosphere.
I can’t even describe the food and the wine. It’s just to much to say. Everything was so incredibly tasty and beautiful. So many new and delicious flavors. I would absolutely recommend this perfect restaurant.

Absolutely incredible experience. We celebrated our wedding day with a dinner at Ark. From beginning to end the staff were so accommodating and friendly. All dishes were great, but we highly recommend the wine pairing – truly a game-changer.
Dima, your service was next level. Your attention to detail, patience and wit was very refreshing. That ‘96 dessert wine blew our minds. Thank you.
