03/06/2026: I dined at AOC yesterday and chose the smaller tasting menu. It was, quite simply, an extraordinary meal that more than lived up to the anticipation I had built over several weeks.
Every course was excellent, and the plate construction immaculate, but a few dishes were truly unforgettable. The mackerel and asparagus was astonishing. Delicate, perfectly balanced, and accompanied by a green strawberry sauce that was genuinely life-changing. The turbot with white asparagus, langoustine, and quail dishes were equally outstanding, showcasing exceptional technique while still allowing the ingredients to shine.
What elevated the experience even further was the hospitality. I was dining alone, but from the moment I arrived I was made to feel completely welcome and at ease. The service team struck the perfect balance between professionalism and warmth. Their enthusiasm for both the food and wine was infectious, and their knowledge and understanding helped guide me through the menu in a way that enhanced every course.
The atmosphere they have created is something special: elegant and refined, yet relaxed and genuinely welcoming. Unfortunately, I don’t know the names of the team members who looked after me, but every single person I interacted with contributed to making the evening memorable.
My sincere thanks to both the kitchen and front-of-house teams for an unforgettable meal, wonderful wines, and a truly exceptional dining experience. AOC exceeded my already high expectations, and I will be thinking about that mackerel dish for a very long time.
21/04/2026: AOC is an exquisite experience. The food, the service, and the space are all immaculate, accessible and friendly. The attention to detail is awesome; the wow factor is everywhere. If you live in Copenhagen or are there for a visit, and want an extraordinary culinary experience, AOC is for you! Wow!
