Atami Sushi Restaurtant - Billund Billund

Atami is a sushi and buffet restaurant with an all-you-can-eat concept. Sushi can be ordered and the buffet can be visited including dessert (ice cream) within just under 2 hours from the first order. The place is often visited by locals and is popular with groups. The food is good and freshly prepared, and the buffet is regularly refilled. You shouldn't expect upscale gastronomy for the price. The sushi is very "European style" but popular with the guests. I would advise Japanese people not to visit - or stick to the buffet. The staff sometimes seems a bit stressed due to the high guest throughput, we were forgotten in one corner for a long time - the system has to be explained to those who don't know it, including ordering sushi with an I-Pad. The chairs are cramped for slightly heavier people, so if you reserve a place on the available benches (few such places)! At just over €30 for food, the visit is cheap, especially considering the amount possible. The ice cream chest was already a bit worn out later in the evening... Depending on your wishes, company and demands, the Atami can be well worth a visit.

Nice place to eat, there's a buffet as well as a menu to chose from, plenty of choice for everyone

Really nicely arranged and tasty sushi at an absolutely reasonable price. The waiters are fast, friendly and accommodating. The parking options are not the best nearby, but the parking garage near the Lego House has plenty of space. The only thing that drags it down is the cavalcade of ugly, homemade, worn paper signs, put up with sticky tape, hanging everywhere. They certainly do not adorn the otherwise presentable restaurant.

Good and I was full very quickly (positively) and it was a good experience. And I think the robots were funny.

I know this place gets mixed reviews but honestly I see no problem with the place. Staff are very friendly and they have a lot of people working. The food especially the sushi is good for what you are paying and it doesn't take long to come. The buffet has a good selection, some of the dishes are better than others. Yes things could be a bit hotter but it is a buffet and find this in most buffets. The place is really big and the buffet never ran out of food. Ordering the sushi by tablet was a nice touch and the robots were great.

Delicious food, the menu is not too large, but that makes it easier to choose, many options also come with multiple pieces so you can taste them all, the service by Robots makes it even more special

We entered and it didn't take long before an employee stood and gave us a table. They have a tablet at the table for ordering sushi, the employee asked if it was the first time, to which we answered yes, I wish we had just received a guide in their tablet ordering, we had to search around to find this out ourselves of (succeeded after some time though). Buffet was scratched in several places and not very well stocked, The staff were not very good at clearing tables after the guests had left, which made it look very messy around the restaurant. An hour after the guests had left, the table was still untouched, and they were also not good at coming and taking plates that had been used at the guests' table, so we used the robot to put them there when we had ordered something it came with. There were 2 robots driving around, which we found very amusing and made a few nice remarks that the employees were completely on board with and could bring a smile to the road. The employees were very polite and accommodating, also in our questions about their cute robots. The sushi tasted fine and was inviting.

All in all, it was really delicious. There were plenty of free seats in there and we could choose where we wanted to sit. You order on a tablet and after a few minutes a robot comes round with what you have ordered. It's a bit fun and different. The dessert section was not that big, but their coffee machine had lots of different options. However, the service could have been better, because even though we said we hadn't been there before, there were several things she forgot to say that we had to ask ourselves.
