While Axelhus is no longer the iconic dive bar it once was this sister bar at least offers some better beer alternatives. To Øl on tap, and in the fridge, alongside Brew York. Fed up with fizzy industrial lager? Well then this is the place for you.

Best service staff, nice girl from Gothenburg. The food was as good as ever. Smørrebrød with egg and shrimp was tasty and good. Breaded fish with fries was highly recommended!

We ate and drank there with the family. Great menu, plenty of choice, and also two children's menus. We were there on Sunday afternoon/evening. The food arrived very quickly and the service was very friendly. A really nice place!

Big, tasty sandwiches. Friendly staff. Has become a favorite place when visiting Helsingør

My wife and I had some sandwiches and chicken tenders. All were really delicious and especially the herring dish with curry herring is highly recommended. Axelbar really has many different types of beer and thankfully there are also schnapps although I couldn't find it on the menu. Thanks for a lovely lunch and see you again

Good salmon sandwich with shrimp and egg A little slow with the first drink, but there were a lot of people. A nice place by the square

Cozy with friendly staff. A plus that they had gluten-free beer. They didn't have gluten-free bread for the burger but they solved that nicely by putting the burger between 2 large lettuce leaves.

Very nice oasis on Axeltorg. Good food. Nice staff. Well worth a visit.

Good food, cozy atmosphere. We were 3 people. Outdoor seating with sun. The waiter forgot a food order and therefore gave a free draft beer while waiting. Good service. By the way, also a good place to watch football online if you don't have a TV2 subscription.

Absolutely wonderful place! And the girl with the dreadlocks was absolutely wonderful and super nice which means I will come back several times again for a visit 🤗 the crazy family that was visiting 🤣
