Axelbar Helsingør

We were craving a beer and shelter from the rain. They solved that perfectly with the help of the nice bartender.

Great experience for our first time in Denmark. We sat outside in the sunny garden. Patrick was a great host, he made us feel so welcome. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting.

The burger and salmon-shrimp sandwich were very tasty, and our dog was given a water bowl right away.

Lovely lunch at a place I flagged weeks before our trip. The beer selection is extensive and the proprietor is the most wonderful gentleman. He offered cultural information and treated us to a special taste of a traditional food. Happy we stopped here. Also watched the barkeep offer to charge a customers phone when she was using a power bank. Excellent all around!!

While Axelhus is no longer the iconic dive bar it once was this sister bar at least offers some better beer alternatives. To Øl on tap, and in the fridge, alongside Brew York. Fed up with fizzy industrial lager? Well then this is the place for you.

Best service staff, nice girl from Gothenburg. The food was as good as ever. Smørrebrød with egg and shrimp was tasty and good. Breaded fish with fries was highly recommended!

We ate and drank there with the family. Great menu, plenty of choice, and also two children's menus. We were there on Sunday afternoon/evening. The food arrived very quickly and the service was very friendly. A really nice place!

My wife and I had some sandwiches and chicken tenders. All were really delicious and especially the herring dish with curry herring is highly recommended. Axelbar really has many different types of beer and thankfully there are also schnapps although I couldn't find it on the menu. Thanks for a lovely lunch and see you again

Good salmon sandwich with shrimp and egg A little slow with the first drink, but there were a lot of people. A nice place by the square
