Azzurra Aalborg

There were seven of us in total, and we split into two groups to find a restaurant for the evening. When we arrived, we saw from the outside that only half the tables were occupied, so we went in. We were given two tables for four. It took our three colleagues about 15 minutes to get here. During that time, we weren't offered any drinks; we were simply left sitting there. And once everyone had arrived, it took ages for a server to come. We all opted for two courses. The next table ordered olives with bread as a starter, and that arrived fairly quickly. The two colleagues at our table received their starters along with their pizzas! And there wasn't enough room on the table for both. Luckily, my tiramisu wasn't served on top of the pizza. Six out of seven of us were satisfied with the food. However, the staff seemed completely overwhelmed by the service. And that was despite the fact that only two other tables were occupied when we ordered!

Super good and cozy experience with extraordinary service! Really nice and professional service and not least really good food, as well as a nice prosecco. A little olive oil for the bread and a little stronger flavor on the pizza we were served would have been the icing on the cake! Really cozy experience.

Well baked and Tasteful gluten-free Pizza Ventricina + wild broccoli. Good service and cozy atmosphere. I recommend to try!

Wonderful Saturday evening in a real Italian atmosphere with real Italian food and wine I am incredibly happy that I managed to find a free table in the restaurant everything was reserved lovely interior, friendly staff, incredibly tasty and varied food. We have had garlic bread with 3 different kinds of topping, burrata with parma ham for starter and pasta with lobster tin main course could not taste better 👍😋 I recommend everyone to visit Italy in the center of Aalborg.

Azurra is an overall good restaurant that can do many things. Unfortunately the quality varies a lot from time to time and we have experienced both really good evenings at the restaurant and a couple that were quite sad with very unfinished dishes - especially their Tagliata. Their take out pizzas are always good though.
