I would definitely say that it is probably one of the better pizza places in Aalborg. The food tastes good but they are not so good at hitting the time when the food needs to be picked up

Fin italiensk restaurant. Let og lys indretning. Fine lækre retter, flot anrettet. Vi syntes dog det er lidt øv, at betjeningen kun kan kommunikere på engelsk. Men det er nok bare sådan det er nu om dage. Ellers en fin aften med glade kollegaer.

"An Evening in Italian Paradise at Azzurra" When I entered Azzurra, I was instantly transported to a cozy trattoria. The reception was heartwarming and personal, setting the tone for a fantastic evening. Each course was a culinary discovery, starting with their heavenly bruschetta, which had the perfect balance of crunchy and juicy. The pasta was a chapter of its own – al dente as it should be, with a depth of flavor that testified to true craftsmanship and love of cooking. It was hard to pick a favourite, but their lasagne deserves special praise. It had a richness and complexity of flavor that can only be achieved after hours of loving preparation. The wine list at Azzurra was also impressive, with a carefully selected range of Italian wines that complemented the meal to perfection. The atmosphere in the restaurant was nothing short of enchanting. The rustic charm mixed with a touch of modern elegance created a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere. It was the perfect backdrop for both romantic dinners and cozy gatherings. The service was top class – the staff were attentive, friendly and had an impressive knowledge of both the menu and the wine list. Their recommendations were spot on and helped make our experience even more memorable. Azzurra is more than a restaurant; it's a piece of Italy brought to our doorstep. I would highly recommend anyone who appreciates true Italian cuisine and atmosphere to visit Azzurra. It's not just a meal, it's an experience and I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

In the center of Aalborg, it offers good and well-presented Italian cuisine. Cozy atmosphere and attentive service. The prices are average and in any case adequate for the quality of the dishes. There is no private parking but you can find space in the streets around the restaurant. When I return to Aalborg for work it's a fixed stop.

I recommend. The chef prepares miracles from Italian products. Everything is fresh. The set, the service, the atmosphere, the cuisine - everything is masterpiece

5 persons for dinner on a saturday evening. They did their best to accommodate us without reservation, which was nice. But it went downhill from there. One waiter asked us to order drinks, but we didn’t get a drinks card from the first waiter. We ordered a bottle of wine, but only got one glass. Also a wrong soda. When the correct wine arrived, the waiter didn’t know what to do with the wine cooler. Asked us where she was supposed to place it. The third waiter recommended their new Ragu pasta, which most of the table ordered. What feels like half an hour later, he returned and apologised that they were not able to make that dish. Half an hour later we finally got the food, and it was amazing. No bread, even though the menu states that bread is included in every dish. When we asked, we received. But only half the bread we were supposed to. It is no doubt a great restaurant with well-experiences chefs. But the serving staff seem to not know what they’re doing. We will be back for food and hope that this experience was the exemption to the normal experience.

To begin, the staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and checked with us quite regularly but not too often, if we needed something else, if everything was okay so far etc. Great atmosphere inside, very cozy, and the tables are not that close that you hear everybody's conversations. Pizzas looked and tasted absolutely amazing, definitely worth the price. Con: the cheese plate. When the price for the cheese plate is similar to that of a pizza, I expected it to be not necessarily a full meal worth of stuff, but more than I got. Comes with 4 fairly thin slices of cheese, 2 of them being the same, 1 walnut cut up, 1 strawberry, bread and oil, and some jelly with mustard and fruit. Compared to cheese plates in other places I've been to, this was very underwhelming. If it is supposed to be served as "dessert" or maybe a starter, then I could get by the size and amount of items, but when it costs close to a pizza/pasta dish, nope. The oil for the bread came in a pipette, which is a really cool concept imo, but the pipette itself was very oily on the outside to the point the bread and the basket it was in was already oiled up. This might be a picky preference, but I did not particularly enjoyed that. Luckily, I did use the oil, but if someone wants just bread with no oil, then it's your unlucky day. This oily pipette thing doesn't affect the review, as stuff can happen and spill unrelated to the staff's care of handling it, but I did want to mention it. Overall, 7/10. Would go again for the pizza, never ever again for the cheese plate.
