I visited Copenhagen on a trip from Japan. BMO was so delicious that I still miss it even after returning to Japan. Needless to say, the bread was amazing, but the cheese was the best I've ever tasted in my life. I can't believe something this delicious exists!
I went there on my first day of my stay, and decided it absolutely had to be my last meal in Copenhagen, so I went back again.
The staff were also very friendly, and I fell in love with Copenhagen because of it.
We came here on a friend’s recommendation to try what were supposedly the “best croissants” in the city. Unfortunately, by 4:00 p.m. there wasn’t a single croissant left.
The bakery is open until 6:00 p.m., so running out of its signature product that early seems like a strange way to manage inventory. There were still some other pastries available, but not the one most people come for.
We also didn’t particularly enjoy our interaction with the staff member. There was a sense of arrogance and irritation in the communication, which made us feel unwelcome.
The pastries we ended up buying were disappointing. We left half of them uneaten. Coffee is really good.
The café is conveniently located next to the metro station, but unfortunately the surrounding area felt quite dirty, and during our visit a man nearby was shouting loudly for a prolonged period of time.
If you live in the neighborhood, it may be worth stopping by early in the day for a croissant. However, I would not recommend traveling across the city as a tourist specifically to visit this place.

Tried their harissa croissant and raisin swirl, both were good (andit's rare to find raisin swirls in Copenhagen in the first place), but not mindblowing. However, their müsli bun was honestly amazing, so flavourful, with a moist and spongy texture. I definitely want to come back to try some of their other bread to see if it's just as good!

We came here almost every day during our stay in Copenhagen.
The expresso was delicious, same level as the one I take at home with beans from a very good roaster.
The spandauer was the best I had in the city, and the muesli bread and sourdough bread were delicious.
We were served by different staff depending on the day, and they were all lovely.

I’ve never had kanelsnegl this good before. The place is not a very hyped place and therefore I think its better than other famous Copenhagen bakeries. The coffee was also good. I would recommend visiting this place on a nice sunny day. ☕️🥐

As someone who lives in this neighborhood for the past 4 years, this bakery used to be a neighborhood gem with good vibes and amazing quality breads. Now, either the prices are up or the bread smaller or both, and some of the products are not what they used to be (eg. croissant). Their staff used to be super genuinely friendly but now things have also changed on that front. It's a pity.
