Our first stop in Copenhagen, and wow, it didn’t disappoint! We tried the cardamom bun and the coco, both were truly divine. The space is small, with just two seats by the window, so it’s more of a takeaway spot. Despite the abundance of bakeries around, we definitely highly recommend Benji. It’s a must-visit for anyone who wants quality and delicious bakes in the city!

Good food here but service is ok - 2 seats and no napkins or trash cans?? I got the vanilla spandauer and the cinnamon bun. The spandauer was really good - the puff pastry was nice and flaky which probably means the croissants are pretty good. The cinnamon bun was ok. The one at Juno is way better. The brueled cake was pretty good but not as sweet as I’d like

Tiny bakery with seating for 2 by the window. This place serves possibly the best pastry you can get in copenhagen.

Seriously delicious baked goods. The place is small and a little hidden away, but cozy and with a small but good selection of bread, buns and pastries. Got a spandauer that didn't look like much but had delicious texture with crispness, a hint of vanilla and creamy filling. The sourdough bun was just as it should be, with good cheese (Western cheese?)

Super super nice bakery. We had a BMO with seeds as well as one Citrus Snegl and a Coco for pastries.
There are not a lot of seats inside, two to be exact so we already planned on bringing the stuff to the lakes. The buns are huge! Not those small ones which you’re usually getting, and you’re also served a nice thick slice of Vesterhavsost. They are super generous with the amount of cheese too. The bun was delicious, although I have to admit it was a bit on the softer side. Not that it’s a minus in general, but I like my buns crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside, but that’s just a preference thing. The bottom of the bun was nice and crunchy so I got the best of both worlds.
The Citrus Snegl was fantastic. It was so wonderfully soft and chewy, and the citrus mixed with the 70% chocolate was just a great combination. I really loved everything about it.
The Coco pastry was also such a delight to eat. It was quite different, lots of caramelization and “dark” molasses flavors, combined with a bit of crunchiness and coco nutty flavors. I love cardamom so that addition was also just perfect.
In general, a very nice experience and definitely a place worth coming back to. The level of quality in both the savory and salty department was top notch. Thanks for having us!

I’m not usually the one for cheese sandwiches but the poppyseed roll with butter and Vesterhavsost was far better than it had any right being.
