Excellent sandwich and almond croissant here today, better tasting than most we've had. Friendly staff and a more relaxed, quieter atmosphere than cafes closer to the main tourist attractions.

I highly recommend it for breakfast or an afternoon snack! I had the "kardemomme" which was delicious and very soft, along with an equally good Americano. Plus, the price is reasonable for Copenhagen.

Really good breakfast deal, sandwich and juice for 70 dkk. Our favorite was the panini and juice with lemon, ginger and yuzu.

The place is lovely. The croissants are delicious too. It's a great place to sit and relax. The staff were also attentive.

Great little neighbourhood bakery that opens early and serves a mixture of locals: those working on laptops, waking up, heading to work etc. Nicely devoid of tourists they have a wonderful mix of baked goods all freshly prepared and warm out the oven.

GAO Dumpling Bar

13/05/2026: Delicious food and great service. The restaurant wasn't crowded, so the food was served quickly. As an introvert, I really appreciate that you just fill out a form that looks like a menu to place an order.
12/04/2026: What a lovely place! I’ve never had dumplings before and I couldn’t be happier with this place! Lovely Louis couldn’t have been a better waiter and we felt so looked after. Will definitely be returning. Thanks so much. Xx

25/05/2026: Hidden Gem. This properbly is the best dumplings i have had in Copenhagen. True Guangzhou cuisine. Delicious.
