09/08/2026: They know what they're doing here, and they know good food here - no doubt about it! The carbonara is made just right, with Guanciale and Pecorino, and it's nice and creamy. I had an excellent Vitello Tonnato, where the veal could have been more pink. The lamb crown was well-done and juicy, but a couple of the cuts were simply too small and poor for the price, and the vegetable garnish too boring (half a handful of pan-fried, wrinkled peppers). It's a really nice Italian place for both those who appreciate good food without it having to be fancy - and for those who appreciate Italian food that hasn't been "danishized" beyond recognition. And it's beautifully located - right by Mariager Fjord. The terrace is a lovely place to sit on a late summer evening. The service is friendly and informal and the wine list is excellent without being pretentious. We will come again.
