We weren't very satisfied. The smoked salmon was way too salty. The Krydder sild tasted very strongly of cloves and was overly sweet. The fish cakes, however, were good in terms of taste and seasoning. 😌

Absolutely amazing fish fritters and fish fillets, crispy fries, stir-fried coarse remoulade. Highly recommend the fritter sandwich. If you dare, try Hajbug, the most surprising restaurant. Nice and understanding staff. Nice to sit at the edge of the harbor and eat.

We had the most delicious dishes - fish fritters with very tasty potato salad and a fritter sandwich at a very reasonable price🤩Also, nice Hancock beer. Highly recommend the place 🙂

Do you love fish? Then this is the place for you. We visit it many times a year when we are at our house on Samsø. Fantastic draft beers from Hancock, the best fries and fish fillets.. Huge selection of the most delicious fish Can't recommend it enough.

We had two sandwiches with crab salad and salmon. We ordered takeaway and ate in the car. The sandwiches were very tasty, but I was appalled by the packaging. I thought Samsø wanted to become a zero-emission zone, but that includes avoiding plastic waste, right?

20/08/2026: Yesterday we went to Dokken in Ballen on Samsø. What can I say, it was amazing! We received a warm welcome, the service was quick and very friendly. The food was fantastic; we had a main course and dessert. It wasn't exactly cheap, but the taste was absolutely top-notch, so it was worth every penny! We'd go back anytime!

20/08/2026: We ate here on Tuesday. We've known the place for a long time and were really looking forward to it. The food was fantastic again; my highlight, believe it or not, was the salad dressing—a kind of garlic oil, or something like that. The weather should cooperate for eating in, as you can only sit outside, but you have a great view of the harbor. Absolutely fascinating! Highly recommended!!!
