Fantastic! I've only tried their red curry and spring rolls, but it tasted like more. The red curry had a delicious, rounded flavor, and the extra chili (finely chopped fresh chili) was delicious.

I can only highly recommend Bangkok Canteen to all lovers of great (Thai) food. On the first glance the minimalistic place may remind of the shops that mostly do delivery - don’t let yourself be fooled by that; the way the owner handles the small dining and kitchen space is truly a joyful experience. The menu is on the small side making sure that everything is freshly prepared, of best quality and cooked to perfection. We came for the first time and had the red curry with tofu and the Tom Yum soup and were so impressed. Best curry I’ve had in Copenhagen, maybe even in Europe? Creamy, hearty, with a subtle sweetness. And the tofu was the good Asian supermarket kind and fried before added, not the lazy way that other Thai restaurants in Copenhagen seem to be doing where they just slide super dry and tasteless tofu from package directly into the dish. I asked for extra spicy and we got extremely spicy cut chili on the side so we could adjust to our own liking. Even though the owner was busy with cooking for other guests she was more than happy to recommend dishes and make us feel welcome. The iced coffee cut excellently through the spices and was a real treat. I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes! Edit: I just came back a second time and it is still insanely good food and just the sweetest service. The best pad Thai to be found in Copenhagen, none of that watery sour stuff you find at mediocre places. A red curry dreams are made off. And spring rolls that are actually homemade. How lucky are we?!? This place needs to be supported, protected and praised by all means. Still the highest recommend!
