Honestly, Bar 7 wasn't our first choice. And they lived up to that. It must be said, however, that when you enter, you are greeted with a loud "hello", which works really well.
From there the service fell. We stood for a long time waiting for instructions on whether we could sit down and possibly where. When we finally asked, we were told that we could just sit at a table that didn't have a reserved sign. After going around to all the available tables, it turned out that they all had a reserved sign. Back to the bar to ask what to do. He was able to answer that because an order had just been canceled at that very table... ("Uh, oh well!?") A bit crazy, letting us walk around first?!
The cocktails were ok, nothing more.
There was nothing impressive about them.
We visited Bar7 on Wednesday in connection with the Bombay Gin Journey and had two exciting cocktails: The New One and The Killing One. We had good service, polite staff and I liked the decor and atmosphere.
So I came back on Friday. Of course there were more guests and the tables were full but one of the waiters saw us looking in vain for a table and showed us one we could use until 10pm. Super nice service.
I don't understand the negative reviews. There were several bartenders who served us quickly. Give them a chance it's a good bar
The place is super nice - it was a single party that was held for 2 hours, so the price was a bit expensive compared to what it actually was. And the queue for the bar was very very long.
