Let's start with the positive, the food is innovative and excellent. That's it. The place is nicely situated but alas too loud for a decent conversation on a 4 seat table. The menu card has few choices which is okay regarding the quality but it is even narrowed down by the inflexibility - for instance why is a menu for the whole table possible on a 2-seater but not for 2 people at a 4-seater? The service is slow, but the absolute low is the wine list: lunatic prices for no name wines are an insult to every wine drinker who likes a good bottle or glass with a good meal. I cannot recommend this place.

Barr was highly recommended to us (and well reviewed in the food community). Very creative menu and highly meticulous and artistic presentation. Former space of Noma with several Noma alumnists in the kitchen. Portion sizes were small. Prices were HIGH. $505 USD for a family of four. Two main courses that were shared (Schnitzel and Ribs) cost $142. Worth the experience but felt a bit stung by the value.

A great dinner spot serving up a variety of local Danish produce. The schnitzel is brined for 9 days and fried to perfection, then served with a horseradish cream and a burnt butter sauce with anchovies, shallots and capers. The rib to share is done delightfully with lingonberries and rosemary petals and served with a green salad. Service is friendly and the waiting staff are attentive and knowledgeable. There’s also a more informal beer room next to the restaurant that has a variety of locally brewed beers.

Top class restaurant in a super authentic setting. Absolutely recommend to everyone.

A excellent meal with some creative use of ingredients. However, we did not feel that the high price was justified for what we got.

This is a MUST when in Copenhagen. From beginning to end, the service and food was outstanding.

I had a great lunch time and it was something completely different to the regular lunch! I can totally recommend this restaurant!

We had an excellent experience here on a sunny July evening. Clearly the Restaurant is busy, so we could only get a counter booking more than a week in advance. However, that gave us a direct view of the pristine kitchen, which was exciting. The range of dishes is gratifyingly small, but you may want to plan ahead if you eat neither fish nor meat. All dishes were memorable and special in their own way and evoked a definite sense of Danishness. The waffle (starter) and the dessert rolled crepe were standouts. As was the service, which was professional, exacting and personable.
