Great authentic Szechuan cuisine, very friendly staff and fast service. Food is well prepared and good value for money.

Barshu is a Chinese restaurant located on Amagerbrogade. The chef is from Sichuan in China, so the food is very inspired by the province. The location is perfect because there is a good view of Amagerbrogade and for that reason (and many others) many tourists come and eat there. You don't need to book a table from home because it is almost never full. The period from 6 pm to 8 pm is when the most visitors come. Be aware of that. The place is decorated in a very Chinese way, which makes you feel like you are in China. The staff is also happy to offer cutlery (knife and fork) for those who have difficulty eating with chopsticks. It is a good place to eat if you need to get away from the big city, stress and hustle. The place is suitable for groups, but you can of course also eat there alone. It is also a good place for children, because they also have slightly more child-friendly dishes such as deep-fried chicken and a rice dish with some duck. They are happy to offer take away and you can have it delivered to your door with Just Eat. 🚐 I think it is a good restaurant because there is good service, short waiting time and a large selection on the menu, it is also not too expensive. Their dumplings are amazing! If you order them with chili sauce, you will have a happy experience. I can also recommend their sesame balls with bean paste. I am very excited about them. However, there are divided opinions about them. Some (like me) love them, others are less excited about them. The service is super nice. They are Chinese so some of them do not speak Danish very well. Others of them speak English. It is sweet of them, when you order a dish with the chili mark 🌶️ that they ask if you want it to be Chinese hot or Danish hot. Their milkshakes could be a little better because of the blended ice cubes in them. The taste is good though. Overall I think it's a good place because there's room for everyone and because it tastes so good. 5 out of 5 stars from here. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
