I am a great lover of good bread and there have been many skilled bakers in Cph and the surrounding area - but first place belongs to Batting. The quality of their products is in a class of its own. Try, for example, their absolutely fantastic croissants and tea birches or cultivate the taste and texture of their bread. It simply doesn't get better.

Der findes ingen bagere der er bedre end batting bakery Jeg kommer hver lørdag og onsdag og køber surdejsbrød. Og jeg kommer fra Bagsværd ,lidt lang køretid,men det værd Jeg er der kl 7 og der er allerede kø,jeg pakker brødet ind i et viskestykke og næste dag er det stadig som nybagt.

Usually it's really delicious, but today I had a bun with cheese, and the cheese was completely melted and the bun completely flattened. Nobody likes pizza for breakfast

Has, of the Copenhagen bakers I've tried, the best croissants. Their sourdough bread is also in the super league. Everything is actually insanely high quality. The queue can be long, but moves fairly quickly, and is, above all, worth the wait :-)

The croissants are perfectly crispy but a little oily. There is only filter coffee in the store and there are not many seats. It is recommended to take it away.

15/10/2024: The food was very good. But it doesn't have a menu but a fixed concept. We were served very friendly by the staff. The price is fair for the quality of the food.
12/10/2024: My experience of Italian cuisine is that it is about simple combinations of the best ingredients. There is an understanding that, for example, you cannot get good tomatoes all year round, and that if you really want the best produce, you have to follow the season. That's really the feeling you get at Tavola Calda. Things don't flow together and you can sense that emphasis is placed on quality above all else. The service is polite and knowledgeable about the food and wine. You can ask anything and both waiters and chefs answer with a smile. In addition to that, it must be said that the restaurant has an exciting wine list which also includes several natural wines. We ate there for lunch on an autumn Saturday, but we will definitely go back on a summer evening for a spritz out in the sun. Clear recommendation for anyone who wants to be sent on a trip to the land of pleasure, Italy, if only for a few hours.

18/01/2025: Wonderful experience with really friendly and fast treatment. The food was incredibly good and plenty of it. A really good idea with biksemad and Paris steak. Traditional but not unoriginal approach approach because it was executed faithfully to the presented without annoying and unnecessary modernizations. Will definitely come again.
11/01/2025: Top place. With fantastic brunch. At a good price and with great service and atmosphere. Highly recommended.
