Big Mamma Gastronomia Hillerød

Wow! Chef Ugur was put on this planet to make pizza, and I count myself very lucky to have found this place. The staff is so friendly, the vibes are relaxing, but beyond it all is the quality of the pizza. Fresh ingredients on a perfectly cooked dough combine to deliver a flavor that I never want to forget. It’s also within comfortable walking distance to Fredoriksborg Castle and the accompanying gardens. This place, and this pizza, is worth traveling for.

I had the lasagna and my husband got the normal pepperoni pizza. The lasagna is nice but it was quite salty so I couldn't enjoy it as much. The pizza is the best out of the ones we've tasted so far in Denmark.

Their pizza is really good but be careful to choose the right one!! If you make a mistake you don't get a new pizza which many other restaurants do for free! I also didn't like that the pizza wasn't cut.

Simply the best Pizza place in all of Nordseeland.

The food is absolutely top class for the price. Delicious ingredients and professional craftsmanship that sit right in the cupboard. You won't get better Italian food in the region. However, there is very little seating inside, so it can only be considered a last resort for travelers. You can't come as a family and eat on site inside. There is also no customer toilet. Outside is cozy when the weather permits, but obviously it is very seasonal. There are around 20 seats. We will definitely buy our Italian to-go food from here again. And you can do so with confidence, with our best recommendation.

Wow, super delicious pizzas, especially their potato pizza (no. 37) 😍😋 We always buy food from here, as they 💯 percent have the best pizzas in Hillerød. Really good and fast service. Smiling and friendly service.

As a new resident, I have now tried many of Hillerød's pizzerias. Unfortunately, I have been disappointed every time. There are far too many oil-soaked pizzas made on cheap dough with no respect for Italian craftsmanship and with poor ingredients. Maybe most people just want cheap food? My favorite is pepperoni with pineapple. Yes, I know - controversial choice. On this fine summer day, I ordered one of these and an Italian lemon soda. I could see the pizza was going to go in the large wood-fired oven in the middle of the restaurant. I sat outside and enjoyed the low evening sun in excitement. I was not disappointed. It was a pizza like I know it from Italy. Plenty of cheese in a good quality. Tomato sauce with the right sweetness from lots of sun hours and pepperoni without too much sweat on it. Good quality pineapple on top. The pizza was crispy on the outside and soft in the middle with nice fluffy edges. Thank you for a wonderful experience - I will be back🙏

Real Italian. Super good taste and quality. Stone oven pizza with good ingredients. Definitely recommended!💪
