Birks is a small Café/Restaurant/Wine Bar, serving very well-prepared and tasty food and bread. They also serve a wide selection of good wine and beer at very affordable prices. There is always a cozy and relaxed atmosphere at Birks, where all guests feel welcome.

This little coffee shop in Denmark has the BEST ever Danish cardemon and cinnamon buns and loads of other flavours. I even brought some back to South Africa much to my husband's delight.

I absolutely loved this place! It’s super cozy and has a lovely outdoor area overlooking the lake, the perfect spot to chill. The pastries and bread are top quality. I tried the focaccia and the cardamom bun, and both were insanely good! The staff were really friendly and had such good vibes, they made the whole experience even better. I’m definitely coming back!

20/12/2025: The hotel is right next to the Mølleåen stream, so a good location. Reasonable prices. Nice, nice room and polite service. Really good breakfast with mostly organic products. All in all a good experience. Would love to come again

02/11/2025: Amazing brunch with a lot of character and history behind the place. The food was delicious – everything nicely served in small glass jars, from fresh fruit and yogurt to eggs and sausages. Prices are a bit high and portions aren’t huge, but the atmosphere totally makes up for it. The old posters and vintage Danish ads on the walls give it a really fun and nostalgic vibe. Definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby.
31/08/2025: A very cute little café with a very aesthetic interior and super friendly staff. The chai latte was excellent, the service very friendly, and the ambiance was quite magical. Decorated with lots of lamps and posters from the 80s and with relaxing background music. In addition to the café, there's a shop with lots of cute little things like earrings, soaps, mugs, etc. – also very cute!
