Bistro Lupa København

We had a great time at Lupa, which started before we even arrived with an excellent email from Lucien putting my mind at ease about the relaxed dress code. Once we arrived we were made to feel welcome from the start, with warm service from the excellent staff, especially Greta who took care of us all night. The food was excellent and we are very pleased we went for the wine pairing. We tried food we wouldn't think of having and wine we wouldn't think of drinking which went together well. The kale salad was immense as were the oysters mushrooms with BBQ sauce. If we come back to Copenhagen we will likely go again. To paraphrase a well known brand, probably the best meal in the world.

I’ll be back! This cozy, off-the-beaten-path restaurant offered such a relaxing and flavorful experience. They serve vegan cuisine made from local ingredients. Apparently, they even farm their own mushrooms. I had the chance to try what was easily the most delicious dish of my entire stay in Copenhagen: smoked, grilled mushrooms served with al dente wheat, complemented by a sweet apple/celeriac purée and a twist of citrus oil. The combination was just so goddamn tasty. The rest of the menu was also a delight, and both French waiters were fantastic at explaining and detailing each dish. Big thanks to the kitchen and the entire Lupa team for this amazing culinary experience.

Outstanding food, the flavors were just phenomenal. Also we felt it was a very good value for a 5 course fixed menu. They were able to speed up service as we had to be somewhere. The service was attentive. The food excellent. All vegan and a focus on local, season, organic, biodynamic, sustainable. They have their own mushroom farm too and the mushroom main course was a standout but every course was perfect. The ice cream at dessert course tasted like the best gelato. The salad course was delicious flavor combination. The celery root pasta dish excellent.

Culinary experience 😍 Everything, absolutely everything, was to our liking!! We took all the available dishes on the menu (there were 7, one is missing in the photos) for four people plus 4 desserts. We were satisfied and amazed by the quality of the dishes and the beauty of the presentation and the colors. Flavors never excessive but still present, dishes presented with care and served with enthusiasm. Compliments to the waiter, who, speaking to us in French, was also able to answer our curiosities. Excellent service! The chefs are very imaginative and super good 😋 Nice, welcoming and clean place. We would love to return. It's a shame we live so far away!!

One of the best meals we’ve ever had, every dish was so well thought out and we could tell the whole staff from the chefs to the servers were very proud of the food and the establishment. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the city, even if they aren’t vegan.

Unfurtunately the food was good but not surprising. We ordered the beans, mushroom barbecue, red pepper, cauliflower and all the flavours were pretty similar. All of them have a roasted flavour and middle east spices. I think it is a cool space but too hype and expensive for the food that is served. We loved the place and the staff. Super kind.

As soon as we step into the restaurant we knew this was going to be a special evening. Lucien took good care of us, we had delicious cocktails, food was innovative and extraordinary and a fantastic atmosphere. Will for sure return. 🙏🙏🙏

An absolute outstanding dining experience. As a solo person I would highly recommend bar seating. The non alcoholic drinks option for the menu is something that I would take any day again over a wine pairing. It was an outstanding experience that left me surprised at every corner.
