Bistro Verde København

This is probably one of the best restaurants in Copenhagen offering meat-free dishes. Although we were skeptical in the beginning, we followed the excellent waitresse's recommendations and our dishes proved rewarding. Both the soups and the main courses were freshly cooked, carefully presented and most of all, full of taste. The atmosphere is typical Danish (stylish but not excessive). The prices are also typical Danish: for those of us who use euros, they are a bit on the expensive side. Recommended and we will be back.

I visited Bistro Verde in mid June this year. Carbonara pasta was 10/10. The open fish sandwich was underwhelming, I wasn’t didn’t liked the cold rye bread and didn’t really tasted the fish. Fries and Parmesan were delicious but the spicy mayo was not spicy at all. Key lime pie and vanilla were also nice. Plus, staff were very friendly.

A delightful, beautiful restaurant with friendly, welcoming staff. We had an appetizer, a first course, a second course, and a dessert. The Crispy Polenta & Wild Mushrooms appetizer was truly tasty and delicate. The Truffle Mushroom Rigatoni were very good, although as Italians, we prefer our pasta a little more al dente. But the biggest surprise was the Marble Steak! A homemade soy steak with exceptional flavor and a texture that rivals that of beef or 3D cuts, perhaps one of the best steaks I've ever tasted as a vegan! Finally, the Moist Carrot Cake with a carrot reduction sauce and vegan mascarpone was the perfect ending to an already superb dinner. A full-bodied dessert with a delicate yet bold flavor, and the mascarpone cream was the perfect accompaniment to the cake. My compliments to the chef for everything!

A hygge vibe 😃 I ordered the regular smørrebrød sandwiches, and you know what? My first impression? Two small sandwiches, but after the first bite... They're true works of gastronomic art. Now I know why they recommend these sandwiches so much, and at this restaurant, they did it perfectly! Bravo!

The starters are delicious, the carbonara and steak were disappointing (just same as any meat/bacon substitutes that you buy in regular shops, nothing special and steak portion is very very very small!) 😞 very friendly waiters but be ready to wait a while for your food. All in all I would still recommend this place 😊

What a find! We tried the arancini, burger, carbonara and tiramisu; everything was fantastic. The Parmesan was next level, and the carbonara, burger and tiramisu were incredibly authentic versions of their classic counterparts. We left absolutely delighted!
