Really cozy restaurant, with very delicious food, which was beyond the ordinary, and good service.

This is the craziest, most satisfying food experience we've ever had. Every bite is a surprise. Very refined down to the smallest detail, yet no bullshit menu. The flavors and textures are amazing. Never tried anything like it before. Highly recommended! Staff is very service oriented as well. Everything is top notch!

With Thomas Wetle Andersen in the kitchen - we had the best menu experience in a long time - with many exciting and new taste experiences. Everything based on Danish smørrebrød and traditions - but what is on the plate is anything but traditional. So if you want to try something new - which is imaginative but ALWAYS delicious - then this is the place. I would like to highlight the egg dish, tomato dish, grandma's rosehip and the potato serving. Will be back as soon as possible. Value for money is top notch compared to other places in town. Applies to both food and wine. The newly renovated bear cellar is super cozy with fantastic art. The warmest recommendations from here.

Bjørnekælderen is back Not as we knew it, but in a new and exciting way. Thomas has reimagined Danish cuisine through open sandwiches and seasonal dishes, and there is a lot of taste, complexity and surprises behind dishes like Tomato soup, Rosehip soup and Cold soup. Nothing is as usual, and it tastes great. Add to this really good service and a wine menu that matches the food perfectly. We look forward to coming back as soon as possible.

Bjørnekælderen is the restaurant that Copenhagen was missing. The food combinations are pleasantly surprising, and the quality of the fish, shellfish and ingredients is at an extremely high level. It's hard not to get completely engrossed in the magical wine list, and the prices are super fair! The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, down to earth and the service is personal and attentive. We look forward to coming back! Hopefully we can try the cozy outdoor seating next time.

The food is wonderful. Great playing flavours - fermentation, dehydration, imagination. Had the tasting menu. Good value for sure. Would of not be surprised if a bib gourmand would come their way the next couple of years. The wine card is amazing and really fair prized!

New people have taken over the restaurant - and my first visit was a huge pleasure. The service helped create a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The food in the combined menu - which from the names of the dishes indicated something traditional - was a really exciting interpretation of traditional concepts such as egg dishes. The really creative and incredibly tasty and elegant new interpretations were both fun and really delicious with good ingredients in new roles. And the serving sizes were just right in terms of having the desire and appetite for all seven dishes and at the same time being pleasantly full.
