Definitely the best fish sandwich in town! Made fresh to order with high-quality, fresh ingredients. Highly recommended, also for takeaway. I'll definitely be back next time.

The food is good, but not amazing. Unfortunately, there's no decoration. Beware: the staff isn't entirely honest with the bill. We would have overpaid by €50!!! if we hadn't double-checked and asked. Beware of fraud!

Shooting Star: 4 stars - tasty in itself, but lacking in flavor. Schnitzel: 1 star - the schnitzel, potatoes, and peas were literally drowning in oil. Fish & Chips: 4 stars - battered fish with frozen fries and very cold, unappetizing mushy peas -> you can get the same thing at Nordsee. The food looks more impressive than it tastes. We waited about 45 minutes. It's okay, but not a must-try.

24/07/2026: Lovely wait staff who are open, smiling and calm, regardless of the number of guests. The food tasted really good, but there was nothing really special about it. We had the fish of the day (haddock), burger and shooting stars. We also had beer another day. The restaurant is located on the square and you can enjoy live music, if there is any, in the Strandbaren. A huge plus is that the seating is sheltered from the (west) wind, because the building is covered.
24/07/2026: The best food I've had in a long time. You need to be a little patient if it's very busy, but it's not a big deal, and the food was truly incredible. Definitely go if you're in the area!
