A lovely lunch for the second time. Everything was flavourful and delicious . Got a taste of the skagen. In my opinion a couple of the fantastic Danish potatoes and some sourdough bread would have earned the fifth star.

Beautiful, intimate even when crowded; the staff is friendly and fast. The chef listened to a lovely selection of '80s Italian pop music while he was creating... and there wasn't a single Italian in the room.

02/11/2025: We visited the Empire restaurant in downtown Fredrikshavn. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The menu isn't extensive—mostly steaks and burgers—but everything was prepared perfectly. We ordered the Jack Daniels burger—juicy, flavorful, and with a rich sauce. We were very pleased and will definitely be back.
