Cozy and informal, fantastic food and good service.

The steak was nicely fried, the vegetables were nicely cooked al dente, normally a restaurant like this with a large dinner party would serve half a dead broccoli, but here it was really nicely cooked, so the food was really nice, as far as the locals are concerned, maybe a bit of a mishmash, the waiters were very young but nice and friendly. All in all, a reasonable experience

I was really positively surprised by my visit to Bollinis in Frederikssund. You don’t always expect a standout food experience outside the bigger cities, but here both the price and the quality of the food were impressive. The food was clearly the highlight of the evening. The flavors were well balanced, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the dishes were prepared with care. This was not just “standard restaurant food” — there was clear thought behind both the combinations and the presentation. Portion sizes were just right: satisfying without feeling heavy. Honestly, the quality was higher than the prices would suggest. You leave with the feeling that you get more than you pay for, which is rare these days. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also very nice. Relaxed and comfortable, making it suitable for couples, friends, or families. It feels informal in a good way — you can fully relax, but without it feeling careless. The service was friendly and welcoming. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and you felt genuinely looked after throughout the visit. That always lifts the overall experience. All in all, this is a restaurant I would definitely recommend if you’re in Frederikssund or nearby. The combination of great food, fair prices, and a pleasant atmosphere makes it a place I will happily return to.
