Bone's Roskilde

The atmosphere was good but the room was large and open. Got a place where it drew a lot from the entrance door. The service is top notch

Very family friendly! I have been here countless times for birthdays and celebration dinners. Plenty of good vegetarian options, easy to get full and want more here, LOTS of themed decor. I’d rather have interesting things on the wall to talk about than a tv in the restaurant. Also, nice service and deals.

Yum, so tender that the meat falls off the bones, sweet potatoes and béarnaise sauce, good company with family, really good service

Our food was cold when it arrived.

Now we have had the opportunity to visit Bone's in Roskilde again on top of the failure in the spring, which I wrote about below, and fortunately it was a positive experience. No burnt food and it all tasted good. Missed a bit of attention from the staff, which we are otherwise used to, because no one came and asked if we were missing anything, even though the restaurant was almost empty, so I hope must have been a mistake. After all, it is part of the good service that the food is followed up and whether you are missing sauce or potatoes, for example. We went to Bone's Roskilde yesterday to celebrate my husband's birthday, we do that often, as the food is good, the service is attentive and the place is cosy. But after yesterday, it will be a long time before we consider coming again, as it was a really bad experience. First we find that the lamps above the tables are turned up so high that it is uncomfortable to sit there. We are asked for a table without a lamp, and we are allowed to do so, but no cutlery will be placed for us at the new place. Never mind, we can ask for that. But we are also not told, as usual, that the salad bar is open after the order has been received by an employee. However, it is small things that you overlook on a busy day. Unfortunately, it all goes wrong from here. My legs arrive and I have to ask the waiter if it's something different than what I ordered because they look different than they usually do. It's not, I'm told. Well, we'll give it a shot. It turns out that the different appearance is because the legs are burnt on and worse, they are rancid. Practice! My husband gets a burger, which he also unfortunately had too much. The bacon in it is charred and tastes bad and hard to cut through, even with the steak knife. The salad bar is also a bad experience. There is too much missing in it and there is a lot of muck that you can look down at, and unfortunately they have ruined one of the most important things that many of us come to Bone's to get in our salad, namely the pasta salad with tomato. Now there has apparently been a saving round again and it is now only penne turned in BBQ sauce, which destroyed all the taste in our salads. As now, the whites of the eyes cost as an accessory. Unfortunately, the waiters are not paying attention to us, as we usually experience on the spot, so it takes a long time before we get in touch with someone about our bad main courses. They usually ask if the food is okay and offer more side dishes, but not tonight. Offered new legs but have lost the will to try more, so ask if I can have a bowl of ice cream instead at no charge, which is fine, so I try. Bone's usually has the best soft ice cream, but I find that it has completely changed. No longer creamy and with a good vanilla flavor, but instead the watery and gritty one that you experience in the accompanying ice cream bar at Asian all you can eat places. Not even close to reminding of the already known soft ice. Another saving round, it seems. A real crap experience, frankly, and we who or used to come often to Bone's, have lost the desire to come back. And it's a real shame that it just had to be like this on my husband's birthday. The experience itself does not deserve more than one star, but still gives two, as the contact we ourselves sought out from the employees was sweet and friendly. But it was unfortunately not attentive last night.

Everything was top notch, delicious food, we didn't wait long before the food was there. Helpful and smiling staff.

Lækker mad men skidt betjening. Mangel på bestik, tørre ikke bord op efter ‘tjener’ spilder sodavand på bord. De unge ‘tjenere’ er ikke synderlige serviceminded. Men kan man se bort fra det er maden helt fin, dog er Softicen til den kedelige side.

Bone's Roskilde gør det igen. Fantastisk service af Sarah, der gav vores drenge,nevø og niece en fantastisk oplevelse der sluttede af med en "medalje" og diplom. Og med den fantastiske service og børne venlighed så smager deres mad også bare helt fantastisk, alt sidder lige i skabet hver gang vi besøger dem. Bone's Roskilde er helt klart vores favorit restaurant af alle d res restauranter Vi gik der fra med fyldte maver efter god mad og 4 meget glade og stolte børn
