Super beautiful and well finished, but in the off season it's also super empty unfortunately, but the few people there are superb

We were in the well-kept Viking village in the low season, so it wasn't full. Parking spaces were plentiful. The staff was very friendly. There was a small gift shop and restaurant.
We had the opportunity to try archery here, which was a lot of fun!
The houses gave a good insight into how people lived back then. You can also book guided tours.

Nice to see the Viking way of life. We were there out of season and so there wasn't much going on. Which didn't bother us.
Just the fact that you pay the equivalent of just under €11 for a cafe' latte from a paper cup is quite steep. If it had been a large glass with plenty of milk foam I wouldn't have mentioned it.
Basically it was a regular coffee with milk.

Interesting to see. Designed with a lot of love. Free for children under 18. Lots of activities to try out yourself such as making flatbread, archery, etc.

Thanks to the Esmark discount of 20% (see Esmark homepage), we paid around 77 euros for admission (child + dog free) for 5 adults, a toddler (5 years old) and a dog and spent around 2 hours on the very well-kept, albeit quite a manageable facility.
The houses gave a good impression of the way of life at the time and the entire area was harmoniously designed. There were free samples of freshly prepared gruel and you could have fun on “old” fitness and play equipment - it was fun not only for the child but also for the adults.
It was a shame that because of the low season, all the extra attractions that are advertised on the website and for which you would have had to purchase extra coins were not possible. A reference on the homepage to the low season and the loss of attractions would make sense.
All in all, it was a very nice and fun trip and we would happily recommend a visit to Vikingehavn.

We were in this small but nice museum last year. The “Vikings” are extremely friendly, helpful and can explain things very well. We would go again next year. Highly recommended.

Nicely laid out, but quite high entrance fees, extra costs for activities (archery, Viking combat school) and generally not enough historical knowledge.
But definitely more interesting than staring at relics in glass cases in “classic museums”.

Very nice, clean Viking village.
Entry is free for under 18s, adults 145kr (approx. €20) but there are often discount vouchers for the house rental if you buy tickets online. (Google helps 😀)
Were there in the off-season and there wasn't as much on offer as there is now. Now we were there a second time in the high season and had to buy coins (10coins about 30€) and a lot of things had to be paid extra (archery 1 coin, stick bread 1coin, making your own leather bag 3coins...) so it all comes together nicely 😅 but it's still really worth it!!
Very nice atmosphere, nice people and the kids really liked it too!!!! We will definitely be back next year 😀
